The first thing my friend said was, “This is fancy!” Oh yes it is!! It has a removable tray to catch the veggies. The blades are super sharp so be very careful! I do like the julienne feature and the slice feature. The picture above is a thick cut of chayote, julienne style. Very easy to use. If you’re into eating banana blossom, this is the right gadget to buy. It makes your life so much easier to thinly slice your banana blossom. Overall, it’s so awesome cuz it has like bizzilion different slicing options to choose from!

Great multi use

I didn’t do a whole lot of research before purchasing this product, but I figured it absolutely HAD to be better than the cheapy mandolin I bought at a grocery store or ROSS or something. The reason I got a mandolin to begin with was to make veggie chips, ie sweet potato, zucchini. My old one didn’t cut them thin enough and my chips were very meh. This has a thickness setting that I can actually get thin enough for chips AND so I could make scalloped potatoes. I didn’t even know I was getting the other attachments but they’re pretty cool too. The only one I’ve used (and will probably be using most) is the grater. I grate fresh Parmesan when I make risotto and having the bin as a catch is sooo tidy compared to using a tower grater. Can’t wait to dice onions with it! (Didn’t think to for risotto 😬) I also just love the way it stores. All the little pieces stack nicely! I just wish that the two attachments that you can attach to the catch tray fit together better for storage.

WIFE lOVES IT

Its amazing how happy your wife will get when you purchase here one of these. My wife was ecstatic! lots of accessories, things i didnt even know existed and dont even know how to use. my wife uses it every day and regrets not buying one a long time ago. its very sturdy and quality of the plastic is very good. would recommend to anyone who wants to make the kitchen life easier for their spouses.

What did I do without it?

My only complaint about this item....is that I didn't get one sooner!! It works!! I put peppers and onions in just about everything I cook...so this makes dicing an onion as easy as getting it out of the bag! My kids laugh at me because I get so excited about using it. When you wash it...DO NOT TOUCH it simply hold it by the plastic part and give it a good slosh in the dish water and rinse it. Those blades are so sharp...I cut the end of my finger by simply touching it by accident. Other than that...it's the best little kitchen gadget I've ever bought myself. Slices the perfect tomatoes and potatoes....I could go on and on...but if you cook like I do....buy this thing...you won't regret it!!

Love this product! A must have!

I am an avid canner and have been looking for a chopper that is sturdy and can also slice. At first I was not sure as I know others that have purchased this and did not like the lid as they stated that it was not removable. I bought it anyways and thought I would give it at try. I am so in love with this chopper and guess what? The lid is removable!!!! Some things that are really cool are listed below: **The filling tray slides out instead of removing the lid and then dumping your product out. **There are rubber grips on the bottom so it does not slide around. **The lid has a a rubber grip so when you push down your hand does not slip. **The chopper is made with a thicker plastic so it is really strudy. **The blades lock into place instead of snapping into place. **When you have to push down on the lid to chopper your product it down not bend or feel like it is going to break. The only negative I can really say about this product is that it only comes with 2 sizes of chopping blades BUT that is really my fault for not buying the one with more blades. So because it was really my fault I did lower my star score! This is a must buy honestly even if you only use it once in a while it is a great product to have on hand!

Ok first off I'd like to say that I researched these kinds of products for afew weeks and decided this was the 1 for me. When it arrived I read the instructions cover to cover and began washing it to use. I decided to start by grating a carrot well when I went to remove the inner tray it broke! I started crying of course and immediately called customer service who were going to send me a new part and I would send the broken piece back well ... I went to clean the mandoline board and that also broke! I immediately called Amazon back and they decided to send me a completely new 1 and instructed me to throw away, despose, or donate the old 1. The new chopper was here in 2 days I removed it from the box and discovered why the first 1 I received was breaking it was the older model and was probably damaged before I even used it. In any event the new 1 is much better and I have not had any issue yet! Thank you Amazon customer service!

This product is AMAZING! After buying it, I bought one for my mom and best friend too!

I LOVE this product. It's a life changer! I use it for everything, making salads, chopping veggies for dinner- I think the best feature of this product is using it to chop ONIONS! Before buying this, I could never chop onions without crying and they were always so horribly chopped! Trust me, this is a kitchen tool you NEED to buy. The only issue with it is of course the cleaning does take some time- but my advice for this is avoid avocado (very tricky to clean) and allow it to dry before cleaning (don't put it in the sink with the rest of the dishes). Whatever is stuck on it once dry comes right out in one piece. Buy this product!!!! Trust me, it was a life changer.

Great gadget for the kitchen!

I received this a few days ago and just got around to opening and using a few of the blades. I spiralized a couple of new potatoes and was really happy with how they turned out. I also diced some potatoes using both sizes of the blades. I loved the uniformed look of the potatoes. I have not used all of the blades as yet, but judging by what I did tonight, I believe I will be very satisfied with this product. I did have a little problem pushing the potatoes through the blades, but I believe this has more to do with my age than the product. Another thing I really like about this product is how little space it takes for storage.

This thing is great!

I just chopped up over 40 lbs of onions to go in my freeze dryer. I wouldn't have even considered doing such a task by hand. This is so much more than a mandolin. I haven't had a chance to try the spiralizer, but with the overall quality of this set, I am not worried that this will work also. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. I would recommend this to anyone.
