I like these mats better than the one that came with my Cameo. It isn't as sticky, but doesn't attract every piece of dirt in the room. These are a great, cheaper, option.

I bought these because the original mat was so tacky that i couldn't peel the paper from it. It was destroying all the vinyl I was trying to cut. So these came and I was prepared to try and reduce the tack and attached a scrap piece of vinyl to it. It peeled right up no issues. Wow. So I have been using only one mat so far and have thrown out the one the sihlouette came with and couldn't be happier. These are excellent quality. Will be buying from them from now on. If I ever need another mat.

We are new to the Cricut world. Bought a Cricut, standard mats, and a few rolls of vinyl. The Cricut standard mats stick well...too well to the vinyl that we purchased. When we tried to pull the vinyl off the standard cricut mats, bits of the backing paper would often stick to the mat. these light grip mats are much better for vinyl. other materials may work better with the stickier mats, but in our experience, light grip mats work better for cutting vinyl.

651 vinyl and HTV peel off this easily. I have had other cutting mats where the backing to my 651 stays on - not on this mat. I like the protective plastic cover that comes with it, I continually put it back on so it's not messy. I was also able to do paper crafting with cardstock on this mat - it didn't stay attached to the mat. I've already ordered these mats 3x because I lost some in my move.

So much better than those awful Silhouette brand mats! Silhouette brand mats generally destroy at least half of my glitter cardstock. This has more than paid for itself in paper savings in just one cupcake topper order! These have enough stick to hold the cardstock, and the adhesive allows for easy removal after cutting. Kicking myself for struggling with Silhouette replacements for a year, but very happy to have found these mats that actually hold the paper for cutting AND allow for removal without destruction.

I typically use the Silhouette Light Hold mats but after a dozen or so trips through the cutter the stickiness fades. This mat is a thicker and stickier. For the first dozen or so uses, you will need to peel the mat away from the paper to prevent curling. I rotate between top and bottom to get even wear & tear. You can't beat the price!

I'm updating my review after being contacted by the company. It appears that I made a mistake and ordered mats for a different machine. I didn't think the machine brand made that much of a difference, but it apparently will. The mat I have is for the Silhouette machines, and I have a Cricut. I will be trying the model intended for the Cricut as well and will update again. The only issue I had previously was with the mat size, the performance of the mat, adhesion, and such all seem to be good. Another Update - 12/26/18 - I have received the Cricut verion of the mat, which come in "Standard Grip" only: https://www.amazon.com/Nicapa-Standard-Adhesive-Cutting-12-Inch/dp/B07K9RD51N/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1545879777&sr=8-2&keywords=nicapa+cricut+mat I've now been able to use these mats for a few quick test projects, and they perform very well. These fit the machine well - just make sure you order the right one for your machine as they make different versions. The adhesive is actually not as sticky as the cricut brand "standard", which is great as I had difficulty with the cricut brand being too sticky for paper, and in some cases even for cardstock, it would tear when removing a project. The Nicapa mats held the material just fine for cutting and I had no problem releasing my iron-on, cardstock, and paper test projects from the mat. Definitely a good deal, and the company support is really great!

I like the product but it is to short for my Cricut. They get caught in the machine and break. This stops the cut and jams the machine, ruins the cut and vinyl. The product itself is not bad I just wish it was the right size. UPDATE... the company sent me 3 replacement mats (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K9RD51N/?th=1) to review and I am more than pleased with these mats they fit the Cricut perfectly. A release is perfect so I will buy more very happy with the new mat.

Honest to God, I will never go back to Silhouette brand cutting mats after discovering these!! The tack is just perfect - not too sticky, but enough to hold down what needs to be held down! I've been using mine pretty regularly and it doesn't have a whole lot of junk on it (little bits of fuzz, paper, etc), despite losing the protective cover for it. When I find myself to the point of needing a new one, I will absolutely be purchasing again!
