I love the look of it
First off I love the look of the watch it's very sleek. I was a little frustrated with trying to sync this with my Samsung phone to get the time updated. I didn't realize because it's not in the instructions that you have to download an app called dafit in order for it to work but once I stepped away from it for it a day and went back to it my frustration was gone and I was able to sync it. My number one reason for getting this was the magnetic closure on the wristband because the rubber ones always seem to catch on everything so I'm hoping that this one turns out to be as great as I think it's going to. I'm hoping that there's an app that I can download that offers more watch faces but if there's not this one's pretty cool. Another feature that I really like is that you can operate the camera shutter on your phone with the watch. The images are super clear and it's easy to navigate through the different features.

Quite the bargain!
After living with this smartwatch for a little over 1 week, I must admit that it is one of the best values out there if you're in the market for one. As shown in the photo, the watch comes with a gorgeous magnetic metal band but an alternate rubberized band is also included. The watch includes all of the expected features like step counting, heart rate, it will alert you to incoming calls, and SMS messages. On top of that, it can act as a remote shutter for your phone's camera, a remote for playing mp3s from your phone, has a pretty accurate blood pressure monitor and Oxygen sensor. The most outstanding feature on the watch is battery length. I received the watch with roughly 80 percent charge on it, so I topped it up before beginning to use it. After using it for 8 days, I still have 65 percent of my charge remaining. Awesome! The largest complaint that I normally hear from smart watch users is that they must charge it on a nightly basis, not with this one! The watch was delivered with 1.8.0 firmware, but after a day or so, it prompted me to upgrade to version 1.8.1 which fixed several small issues. Updating the firmware takes roughly 15 to 20 minutes. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, don't confuse it with other low priced fitness bands out there, this is not a toy. At the price, it's an exceptionally good entry point smart watch. Cons: A bit on the heavy side (battery?) Thickness (again probably due to battery) Pros: Price Excellent battery Life Easy Bluetooth connectivity Features found on much more expensive watches. Quite the bargain!

high quality build and material, long battery life, seamless BT connection, lots of features
Other reviewers have covered the functions of the watch very well. I just want to say that this is an outstanding bargain and It has all the features I find useful in a smart watch. It is also well made, comfortable to wear and looks like a high end device. PROs *Design is high class *Metal band is easy to use and comfortable even for sleeping *Display is crisp and bright *Magnetic charger very cool *Very sensitive and keeps good records *Good water resistance *Very long battery life CONS *Display turns off too quickly - should stay on for at least 5 seconds *Lacks GPS, voice control, phone calling and video (but excellent for the price point). *Square display in round bezel? Why not square bezel? The square display cheapens the appearance when it is on. A high class square bezel would look just as good as the round one and would retain that impression when the screen is on. In any case this is an excellent smart watch choice for anyone who does not need or want GPS, voice control, phone calling or video.

UPDATED 21, Sept, 2019!! Brutally honest review for a $30 “fitness smartwatch”!
UPDATED 28, October, 2019: Umidigi rep, Jason Xu, reached out to out of nowhere. They want to ensure I am a satisfied customer, so they sent me a new watch (arriving later today)! This is EXCELLENT customer service! I am very happy with this company and products (my F1 smartphone is the best phone I've ever had)! I'm looking forward to my new UWatch2 and will continue to be a customer of Umidigi 's products. Highly recommended! Thank you, Jason! Nuff said! UPDATE 21, Sept., 2019: I REALLY wanted to like this watch, but it's just no longer doing the basics of a "smartwatch"! At this point, it ONLY keeps good time! I'm changing the rating from 3 stars to 1! The step counter is just getting more and more way off! At midnight, steps went to zero. I had it on my right wrist, the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro on my left. Got up once in the middle of the night. When I woke up, the Samsung showed 166 steps, the Umidigi showed 304! Tossing and turning are counted as steps...also, anytime you swing your arm. The sleep tracker? Way off, too. Samsung showed 7h,52m (which matches perfectly with my bed-time, sleep and wake-up times). The Umidigi showed 5h,52m! Decided to just try it for a workout once more, 50 minutes in, I accidentally hit the button...and my workout was wiped out...but it did keep the steps. Good thing I still use the Samsung for working out! Finally, as I was writing this review, I took the watch off, set it down on the coffee table and started the BPM app. It gave the exact same, crazy high, reading it ALWAYS gives...even though I didn't have the watch on! It's like those numbers are programmed in, because they don't change! So, this replacement is going back. It's of now use to me if I can't even get accurate steps...the sole and most important reason I got it! I can't believe Umidigi actually makes this. I would believe another company makes the watch and Umidigi slaps it's name on it. Call me when they make a REAL smartwatch. Nuff said. I’ve had the Umidigi Uwatch2 since 9, Sept., 2019 (purchased through Amazon). Let me say this 1st: 1) It’s a $30 fitness smartwatch! 2) It’s NOT a $200 fitness smartwatch! I read some reviews where people paid for the watch, got it and then complained about the features it DOESN’T have! One read of the description tells all the features it DOES have. Let me put it this way: see #1 and #2 above. I have a Polar M400 (great watch, which is kind of old and semi-retired) and a Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro (nicely featured watch which replaced the Polar M400). The Samsung starting acting crazy (freezing up, apps won’t run, battery-life started getting shorter and shorter, etc…). Had the Samsung since April of 2018. I started looking for a replacement (favoring the Polar Ignite, Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 or the Garmin Vivoactive 3 or 4). I got the Uwatch 2 for 1 reason...to hold me until I decide which fitness watch I really want ( I do a LOT of research) and to keep track of my steps, especially at work. Now..on to my review: The Uwatch 2 is not cheaply constructed at all for a $30 watch. The magnetic band is definitely very good quality. I used the rubber sport band for a workout just once to see how it tracked...did ok. However, I’ll continue to use the Samsung for working out...for now. The Uwatch 2 is fairly accurate at counting steps...but it will also count “steps” if you are just swinging your arms around. The display is decent...although can get washed-out in the sun. Not the brightest, tho. When stopping a walk or training or whatever, be sure to hit the “pause” button 1st. If you hit the back button to return to the home screen, it will record steps, but not the actual session or time of it. Also, recorded distance is way off...I cover about 3 or so miles a day walking around work on my breaks during my shift. Uwatch 2 constantly shows 10+! Detects heartbeats per minute….seems to be accurate, I guess. “Sleep” did not record 2 separate nights in a week. The biggest issue is the BPM...it’s 30+ points higher on the top (systolic) portion, a few points higher on the bottom (diastolic) portion. I have a 2 other BPM’s, 1 is a wrist type. They are both accurate and match the results I get at my doctor’s office. I reset the watch and my BPM came in super low the 1st time after resetting, then super high again..every single time. The results never, ever change. So, I swapped the Uwatch 2 for another which I’ve had since 11, September. I reset the watch as soon as I got it. It gave the exact same low reading as the 1st watch didafter I reset that one...then the exact same high numbers...no change whatsoever. I mean the numbers are EXACTLY the same. My other 2 BPM’s continue to show my normal BP. The BPM was not my reason for getting the watch, but I figured it’s there, so I just wanted it to work..it does not. This is a very nice-looking, well-constructed “smartwatch”, that has some flaws. I’m gonna keep it, tho..because of the step counter accuracy...and the battery life. But don’t let it fool you, this watch is NOT gonna perform like a much more expensive watch, nor does it have the features. Once again...see #1 and #2 at the beginning of this review...and read the Uwatch 2 description. It keeps great time and counts steps..that’s the only reason I bought and am keeping it for now….plus I own a Umidigi F1 smartphone...which is great! Nuff said!

Great value for the price
This is a great watch for what you pay. There are some quirks, but overall it's been a handy watch for daily wear. The battery life is outstanding, I'm going on 7 days since my last charge and it's still 50%. The app is nice if you want an easier way to read the fitness and sleep tracking. My only dislikes are that there is no way to increase the screen "on" time, and that the various functions time out way too soon. For example, the "Music" control is the main reason I bought this, because I wear Bluetooth headphones a lot, and wanted a way to skip songs or pause without taking my phone out of my pocket. The control works fine, but it reverts to the regular watch face if you don't use it after a couple minutes, which then requires scrolling through the menu and restarting it. I wasn't sure if I wanted a "smart" watch, as I never wear a regular watch anyway, so I figured I'd try this one to see if I would like it or not, and so far, I've found it to be a handy device. I also wear nitrile gloves at work all day, so it's a pain to take my gloves off to use my phone, and then re-wash my hands and put a new pair of gloves on. With this watch, if I get a text or call, I can see who it is and decide whether I need to respond or not. With a couple software tweaks, this would be a killer device. UPDATE: Didn't come up until now, but since I now work night shift, apparently this watch only tracks your sleep if you do it at night. 3 days of sleeping 7 hours, no data at all. Still tracks my heart rate, but not sleep. Strange quirk of the software.

Awesome product for the price!
While I don't normally wear a watch, I'm really into tech gadgets. For that reason, I looked around for something both affordable and practical, and this is what I decided to try. This watch is a combination of a fitness tracker and a smartwatch. I don't work out (on purpose anyway) but the heart rate monitor and step tracker come in handy, although I can't vouch for their accuracy. There's also a sleep monitor which again, I'm not sure how accurate that is either. These features seem to be relatively close in their calculations. Also, there's a calorie burning meter, for those of you who actually do work out on purpose. On to the "smart" features. This watch allows you to see a preview of text messages, emails, phone calls received and a few other apps as well. When I say "preview" I mean, you'll only see the sender's name and maybe the first line of text. Pretty convenient. Of course you have to have the watch synced to your phone through bluetooth for all of this to work. Another handy feature is the weather app. A couple of other cool things you can do is control the music player and camera shutter on your phone, but I haven't actually tried to use either of those things yet. Other basic things that are included are a stopwatch and 3 alarms. Of course for many of these features to work, you'll need to download the "Da Fit" app to your phone, which is easy to find in the Play Store or the App Store, depending on your device. It's a pretty easy and straightforward application to use. I had no problems with it. Also in the app you can download a TON of different face displays to fit your style or need. There are DOZENS of displays to choose from, all different layouts and colors, and they're FREE. The watch itself seems very well made and is basically waterproof to a certain degree. I'm not really going to test that out personally but I would feel safe in the rain anyway. At first, I really liked the mesh steel strap with the magnetic clasp. However, I quickly found a couple of flaws with it. First, it tends to snag on your sleeve sometimes depending on what kind of material you're wearing. Secondly, and more importantly, when I tried to place the charging magnet onto the watch, it mostly attached itself to the strap instead. It was a real hassle. Luckily they include a second strap made of rubber (or whatever). I was able to put the rubber strap on there really quickly and easily. It works much better trust me. Other things to note: the display doesn't really stay on very long, about 3 seconds, unless you're navigating the menus of course. This is probably to save battery life. Speaking of battery life, I fully charged the watch and after a day's use it's sitting at 86% charge. Seems pretty good, we'll see how it goes. Also, if you turn the watch towards your face, the display pops on. Not exactly sure how it does that but I like it. The home button is very responsive and scrolling is nice and smooth. I also really like the round design of this watch. Most smart-watches these days are square shaped. This one just looked a little more refined. Keep in mind though that the display screen is actually square. *** EDIT *** If you want to maximize the battery life, find the "quick view" setting in the app and TURN IT OFF. Your battery life will increase DRAMATICALLY!! Today, mine used a whopping 1% of the battery!! So far, so good. Seems like a bargain to me. Thanks for reading.

What's not to like?
The battery life is very good. I was kind of shocked at the quality of this watch vs. the price point. It's not an Apple watch or a Fitbit but it has a ton of features. Honestly, the thing has a touch screen and does an excellent job of tracking steps and activities. It also has some integration for your cell phone. I have tried much more expensive watches and I actually prefer this one. You get two watch bands and it uses the Dafit app. There are a number of health related trackers that work well. I might buy another one because I do suspect the price will go up. It's a lot of value at a suspiciously low price. I highly recommend it.

Great watch, better price
bought as a gift for my husband who is not a very tech savy person. I was able to set it up for him (which was very easy and straightforward). he loves it, it came very quickly and had two interchangable bands. his does the flick wrist thing, idk about water proof he does not want to risk damaging it. It is exactly what you paid for, I would say that it is a very nice smart watch and at the price it is a perfect gift for someone if you are not sure whether or not they will use it.
