Lots of fun

This was purchased primarily for my husband to bring to work and use as seeding for wind tunnel measurements. You can see him in one of the photos testing out a laser sheet in the fog to see how it works. We bought it a week before halloween so that we could have some fun with it at home first. My kids have had so much fun that we might need to buy one for ourselves if we are borrowing it from work too much. You definitely want to use it in a large space or an area that you can ventilate easily afterwards. Not because the fog is dangerous, but it generates A LOT and it is very long lasting. If you are as enthusiastic as we were, you might find yourself in a dense fog. My 7 year old had fun practicing fire safety and was crawling around on the floor saying “stay low and go!” It was fire safety week at school haha, but I digress. It is really easy to use. You just fill the reservoir with solution (I bought fog worx), plug it in to warm up and press a button on the remote to release the fog. I was able to get a good 30 second stream of fog from the machine before it needed to warm up again for another minute. Trust me that you don’t need more than that. For a party, you would only be sending out occasional bursts. The lights add great extra effect and you can choose to have them on or off with the flick of a switch. The remote has more than enough range than I could ever need. I like that it has a clip so that you can keep it attached to the receiver when not in use so that you don’t lose it. It comes with hardware for mounting if you like as well. Overrall, this machine works great and we are really impressed with it!

Powerful fog!

I bought this to complement my disco ball unit (see review for my disco ball). This fog unit provide very powerful mist of fog! It come with a remote with an on/off switch so you can shoot fog whenever you want to. It take about 2-3 min to warm up. I did a video to show the fog performance (I added the disco light so the fog can be seen in the video)

Good for the price

The first important thing is try to order a fog machine with time to spare before you need it. That way, if you get a defective unit, you'll have time to replace it. This unit seems well made. Very good construction inside. Much better than my 400 watt unit. This 500 watt unit is noticeably stronger than the 400 watt unit but be aware that the burst of fog is shorter than that of a 400 watt unit. The remote works well but you have to hold down the button for the fog to work. I wish it were like my 400 watt unit where I could flip the switch and the fog would automatically start whenever the unit was ready.

Works great with high density fluid.

Worked great to add smoke for photoshoots. Just strong enough to get the job done and didn’t break the bank. It’s fairly light weight and super easy to use. My coworker bought a similar one last year and it’s still going strong. Can’t wait to use it for Halloween or Parties. Wish I had edited the pictures to be able to upload one.

Small compact fog machine with remote!

Overall a great little fog machine. Due to its size and light output it's best suited for a smaller room I would say 10x10 is the biggest I would go. The remote works great, just wish it had a timer remote instead which is why I took one star away from remote. I'm not sure what warmth really means. Typically when it comes to fog machines you don't want the fog warm. Warm fog doesn't stay low on the ground like chilled fog does. As far as warmth, it's no more warm than any other fog machine not piped through a chiller. The fog thickness really depends on the fog fluid you use. This is definitely something that you get what you pay for. Use high quality fog fluid and you will be happy with your results! Im excited to put this machine to use this Halloween!

Fun!

Pretty simple and straight forward. Made my own fog juice (30% VG/70% distilled water) and this thing pumps out the smoke. Run the smoke thru a 4+ inch diameter hose/duct filled with ice for ground fog - just in time for Halloween. Heats up pretty quickly and lets you do about 3 long blasts between reheats. Wish you could do more with the lights and the remote. My cats are terrified of the smoke breathing beast!

Foggy fog machine!!

Foggy! Cool fog machine. I used the fog machine next to the pool to give it a cool look. The different LED color lights from the machine was really cool. It was very easy to use. I was able to control the density of the fog. The remote control was nice because I can mount the machine out of the way and still activate the fog from a distance. Can’t wait til we can have pool parties again! I have cool plans for Halloween too!

Adds great special effect for Halloween

I always wanted a fog machine and finally decided to buy this to use for Halloween and it did a great job. Fills up the porch area easily and creates great special effect. Machine seems well made and remote control is easy to use. I didn’t use the lights for my purpose and I made my own fog juice. It’s a lot cheaper this way and instructions can be found online. It would be great if they included a small bottle of fog juice for convenience sake but this would be a plus and no sellers include it so it’s not a negative against the machine itself.

Perfect fog machine

Great little machine. I looked in to hiring one which would have cost me twice as much as what this cost me. Fog machine is awesome and then with the added lights on it gave it a much better effect. Perfect for small parties at home or in a small function room. We used it it a large Tom at home and it was perfect. One thing to remember when ordering is remember to order the fluid used to make fog.

Great for house party

I love this fog machine...a necessity to add ambiance with any kind of laser lights. I think the LED's it comes with are a little too strong and I usually keep them turned off to better show off the laser light show. I also like the remote it comes with...dance, press button, instant cloud of fog!
