I originally bought this kit because it was on sale and we had previously bought a different kit for my 5 year old for Christmas. I was a little bit disappointed that the holes and balls were smaller than our other kit so we couldn’t use them together, but we just assemble both kits and create tunnels between the two so we can still use both kits. This one is sturdy and I actually like that the sticks and balls are on the smaller side because I feel like it makes them a bit more study. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble and stores really well in the box. My kids really have a lot of fun building the different types of forts included with the kit. Hours and hours of imagination and entertainment which is a win in our household.

As kids, we all built forts with blankets, towels, sheets and whatever else we could find. If we would have had this, our forts would have been spectacular. For today's kids, get them away from their electronics and start building a large fort. The amount of fun can be had by all. My only suggestion is getting at least two kits to build something bigger and more involved - you won't be disappointed.

This is a wonderful toy for kids. I got it for my 4 year old daughter and even her 10 year old big sister likes to play with it. It’s fun building forts and covering them with blankets. The forts are too difficult for a small child to assemble alone because the balls actually do need to be in a specific orientation in order to complete the pattern and make the structures in the book. I gave a 4 for sturdiness only because of a child pushes the stick too hard into the ball, the stick can snap but with adult (or big kid) supervision this is a wonderful toy.

Great gift for kids of all ages. My 8 year old loved getting this for Christmas! She played with it all day while more expensive gifts sat under the tree..lol. We built so many different structures and most of them she did on her own. Will probably by a second one to expand her designs and creative thinking. I recommend highly!

Innovative play for kids. My children like it soo much.

I bought two kits for my tall 7 year old and tiny 5 year old to combine and mass build. They needed help problem solving the roof- which can be awkward and difficult if you don't follow the picture diagrams. The picture diagrams don't show which hole to place the pole in. It looks like the five dots on dice. Its supposed to help with angles i think.. So you kind of guess and then have to move things a bit to make it work. It frustrated me: the adult helper. My daughter enjoyed building but couldn't understand complex building. My son loves building legos and other build kits. He has an engineering mind. He loved problem solving and fixing the mistakes. Overall a good starter kit and enjoyable for little builders. Expect to be asked for help with roofs.

I don't usually write these, but.... My grandkids are over the moon with this tent fort. I got some nerf balls for the hoops and they spend a lot of time playing with this in the living room where I can watch and enjoy.

My son loves making forts, so when I saw this I had to get it for him! The concept is awesome and we love that we can build different designs. The only thing that I dislike is that it is a little difficult to put together. My almost 6 year old can not build it on his own. I have to help and it's even a little difficult for me. (My husband does it with ease)I can only hope it gets easier as we use it more. Overall an awesome idea and you should get one!

Kids love em and want more. They do come part really East so that is a tad annoying. Other than that all good.

Gave to my 4 yr old nephew for Xmas and included it in a larger fort kit with clips, Velcro straps, a sheet and a lantern. We had so much fun building a few forts. The pieces fit snug, and our “mansion” was a big hit. Once built, his younger brother (3) could also play inside. Took some practice to get the correct angles, and he will need some help for the more complicated designs. We followed the instructions (to twist the rods and which direction is up on the balls) and didn’t have any of the troubles others have mentioned. Excellent toy to stimulate imagination and creativity while learning about math and puzzles.
