Works as intended.

It fits my Xbox One X controller just fine with no back and forth wiggling while attached -- you have to wiggle it manually, but shaking it does not move. It does NOT cover up the pairing button as it has notches cut out on both sides to accommodate it. Other adapters have this problem.* The front and back of the clip meet at the front of the controller like a clam shell and snap together over the keyboard/adapter port. No other ports, buttons, etc. are covered up on the controller except this, but how else are you going to use it? This isn't a bother for me but may be for some. Your mileage may vary so you may need to test your own controller because Microsoft likes to make different controllers for different consoles or occasions, but I believe overall any of them should fit because mine is one of the larger ones* I think. I have an S9+ and it fit perfectly fine. When forcing to extend all the way, I'd say there's maybe half an inch of additional space so a larger phone will definitely fit. Maybe not a Defender series otterbox, but definitely any regular sized phone case will be just fine. The build is what it is ... not garbage plastic but not a hard plastic either. The snap mentioned above could wear down or break if you snap/push too hard or just from normal wear and tear, but I venture it'll go a good while before doing so. As well as the thumbscrews for the phone holder might wear down. These are both hypotheticals and not applicable (yet). PRICE: Price is good for what you're getting. 5/5 stars. * This is not my first adapter. I bought one in a Microsoft store and it was designed to fit all controllers. It did not wrap around and fit mine at all (Steelseries). I did pre-buy the brand new one Microsoft adapter mentioned on the xCloud beta site so this will work in the interim, as a backup/guest adapter or something of the like.

It works well

Its pretty simple locks into controller well but did have to remove headphone attachment at the bottom of the controller. Phone holder stretches to accommodate larger devices and one you find the angle you prefer twist the nobs to lock the bracket into place.

Great Phone Clip for the Xbox One Controller

I am pleasantly surprised by how good this clip works. I was a little concerned how sturdy this would be holding my Samsung Note 9 in it's Otter Case, and it works perfectly. It's a great product.

I thought mine was broken. I was able to clip it on the controller with a little of extra force.

Best xbox clip out

I prefer this over the dainslef Foldable Mobile has more adjustable angles and doesn't block the Connect Button at the top of the controller while its attached.

Best Phone Mount for Xbox Controller

This phone mount fits the Xbox One controller perfectly. Holds tightly and lets you adjust the angle of the phone to any angle you may like. Does not flop around like other phone mounts. Would recommend!
