Safe and secure

This bag is solid. I can tell about the water resistance as I spilled a water by accident on it and it wiped right off. It was as it had repellent on it. With that said there is plenty of room for out titles, passports l, social security cards and a few other important documents. There is a large sections and a smaller one. Both compartments have zippers for secure fire safety.

nice, protecting document bag

This bag is large enough to hold several files in the large zipper pocket, smaller items in the outside pocket. It certainly is waterproof material but not sure about the zippers should it ever be immersed in water in a flood. Either way this will provide some protection and is a great way to store valuable documents. If this review has been helpful to you, please LIKE it. This is 100% my own opinion. Works for me so far!

Previously had a lockable metal box about the size boots might come in. But I'm increasingly handicapped and it got too difficult to access. I only had about 2 inches of stuff to keep in it. This bag is certainly easier to handle. I'm still quite bemused by the video of the guy torching the bag that kept its integrity. I wondered what would happen to the contents in a conflagration (paper documents? photos? a flash drive?).

Great for added peace of mind

This document bag seems very well made and durable. I lost all of my pictures and important papers in a Fire last year. This bag will give me extra peace of mind because I definitely don’t want to lose everything again. It’s bigger than the average bank/cash bag so it holds a lot of stuff. Much better looking than most bags. If I need to run to the bank I can fold it in half and throw it in my purse. It also fits nicely in the safe. It has a second pocket which is useful for smaller items. The price was good. I highly recommend it for securing documents safely.

Great pouch to help organize my backpack & travel bag!

So far I'm very happy with it! Although I'm not using it for document storage, I am using to hold tools, pens, and other things inside my backpack! I also planning to use it for travel documents during my upcoming vacation! My wife and I decided to test it with a lighter... not a mark on it! So she touched it and burned her finger! The pouch and lining are unmarked, it's wonderful!

It holds a lot!

Another reviewer said that they put an entire ream of paper in theirs. I don't think mine was that large, but I had a ton of paperwork and it all fit in this pouch which seemed impossible, but it all did fit! Someone else mentioned that a fireman advised them to put very important papers in a fireproof pouch even inside of a fireproof safe. This is an easy and inexpensive step to take for added protection. No one ever thinks a disaster will happen to them, but never the less we must consider what we would do if the unthinkable did happen. I know if my house ever catches fire, I can forget about saving papers and concentrate on saving my dogs and myself. That gives me peace of mind and for less than $20, it's one of best values for peace of mind out there!

Very affordable and safe solution for document handling during travel

Though we have a fire safe locker, we wanted to have a fire safe bag to use in travel and to keep very important documents. The bag fits A4 size documents comfortably and is very easy to handle. Grips well in hands. Excellent water proofing. Tested in rain and under tap and absolutely kept documents sage. Most important feature is fire proof. Tested it on a candle, it didn't hurt the bag at all. Was little skeptic to check the zipper for fireproofing. So can't not say much there. Overall its a fantastic cost effective solution to keep documents sage while travelling or at home.

Great Satchel!

This is a great satchel. It holds a lot and has a texture like grip material. You can place it somewhere and rely that it won't slip off and fall to the floor. I probably won't try to light it on fire or throw it into the creek, but I trust it would withstand both and much more. I think this would be ideal to put your important things into while traveling and keep things safe and sound in your suitcase. I carry a stack of papers or a folder and it easy holds a book and your iPad without being too bulky. Great satchel!

Would repurchase

Been using it for a few months now for important documents like birth certificates/etc. It's prefect for what we needed just the right amount of space! It has a funny texture on the outside but I believe that's because of what it is for. I'm not testing the *proofing* so hopefully it really lives up to its claims... a risk I'm taking, but these seemed to be the best reviews of this type of pouch. I'm overall very pleased with it as of now.
