Great for simple floor plans when wanting to create a design to scale.

I downloaded free 15 day trial and designed new 6" LED ceiling light layout for kitchen. Purchased full version here and simply entered the SW KEY from purchase to re-activate my program and saved files. NOTE - Install specifies that you have to run "As Administrator" on initial start-up when entering the SW/KEY information or it will keep asking you for it and not open until you do. I noticed a previous review had this issue and I did as well on my trial installation but resolved by running "As Administrator" and then I did not have issue when activating the purchased license.

Great, easy to use software for home design

We bought this after looking at several recommendations online. Software so far has been very easy to use, especially with the built-in video tutorials. After only a couple days of use we were able to finish our initial home layout. Lots of features add a great level of detail to projects. Side-by-side 3D visuals with the 2D floor plan are also really helpful. One tip though: do not use the desktop shortcut that windows automatically creates as it does not seem to want to launch the software. Instead, use the shortcut in the windows start menu (or pin it to your taskbar or create a new desktop shortcut). When doing that, we've had no problem getting the software to run after the initial activation screen.
