Less expensive than the OE

Easy peasy, plug 'n' play. Instantly recognized by my iPad Mini 3 32GB. I have a new USB guitar cable en route from Amazon but I tried my old one that I know for a fact is sketchy and the Garage Band app recognized it. I was able to test it enough despite the erratic cable. Note that the enclosed instructions state what models of iPhone and iPad this adapter is supposed to work with and also what can be accomplished with the device and the specific phone or tablet. Not every feature will be available to a specific device or with a specific version of IOS.

Worked for my iPad Pro

This worked great on the iPads with certain USB drives and devices. Some USB Devices draw too much power so the iPad will give an error message saying the device is using too much power. I was able to solve this by using a USB hub. The USB hub I have is an Anker A7518. A 4 port USB hub that is pretty small. I was able to plug any usb drive to this without plug power into the hub.

Works with IOS 13 on iPad

Sorry for this review

I got this from what I read. However, even though it said it was for iPhone 10 as max my phone kept on saying it would not work with on my phone. I don't claim to understand why. All I know is what keeps on popping up. It might be that it is the wrong kind for my iPhone. I don't have a problem with this company or Amazon I just choose the wrong one. Used for TC Electronic TonePrint

Serves its purpose just fine, even if it is a different purpose. I don’t use these for cameras.. The newer TC Electronic guitar effects pedals feature ‘TonePrint’ software, which allows you to connect your effects to your IPhone to customize sounds and save preset functions. You need one of these camera adapters to connect the device to the phone in order to get full functionality of the menus, but it works and works great.

Type on your AirPod 2!

I plugged the lightning end into my AirPod and the usb bluetooth piece into my full-size non Apple keyboard, and started typing!

I ordered this to use a mouse and USB flash drive with my new iPad 10.2". It worked flawlessly for both. Quality and durability seem good. It looks and feels similar to a product made by Apple. There was no setup involved (other than enabling accessibility features to use the mouse). I just plugged it in and it worked.

First one was dysfunctional but they sent me a replacement in no time! This is great! I. An finally upload from and to Usb drives and my presentations I can do without my laptop!!!
