It’s great!! Went from a series 3 to a 5
I love it!! I had the series 3 and decided that it was time to upgrade to a newer version. I LOVE that the screen stays dimmed when your arm is down because sometimes with my 3 it would be a bit difficult to get it to wake up To see the time if I was laying down or couldn’t turn my wrist all the way. Now I can always see it!!!

Do NOT get the 40 mm
I bought a 40 mm.. Took off charger at 6:30 am at 100%. When I got home at 4:30 pm it was at less than 50%. Drove me crazy. So I splurged and bought 44 mm for $30 more. OMG. I wear all day, same time as 40 mm, and it's at 80%. Don't skimp. Buy the 44 mm, and save yourself almost $400. There are more bands available for 44 mm. Battery life is SO much better. Options are the same (faces, apps, etc.), but 44 mm is hands down the winner. Awesome!

Best smart watch
This is my first Apple Watch and it’s awesome. I see a lot of people complaining about battery life. While it would be nice if they could get it to last all week, that probably won’t be happening for a while till battery technology catches up with everything else. They advertise 18 hours (someone claimed that Apple advertised a week and that is completely untrue) and it gets that. I’ll get home from work after having it on for 15 hours and have 20 percent left on it. Like I said it would be nice if it lasted longer but I hafta charge my phone every night too so it’s not the end of the world. The always on display is really nice. The compass is a great addition for me because I hunt and I’m in the middle of the woods a lot. The health stuff is well done. I love having and alarm on my wrist that vibrates and wakes me up because I’m a really heavy sleeper. I never thought I would need something like this and to be honest it’s not a necessity, but it is kinda of a convenient addition to your phone that has some benefits. Definitely not regretting 400 bucks I shelled out. The only negative is the glass scratches easily. The sapphire on the more expensive models should be on every watch.

Still the best smart watch out there by a mile.
What can I say. Apple watch is still the best smartwatch out there and the sole reason I stick with iPhone year after year. It's a pity really that no one can even remotely compete in creating as full featured watch as Apple. I upgraded from series 3 watch to this always on display in series 5 and the changes in design are obvious and to the better. The screen is bigger, everything is a bit sharper to my aging eyes, responsiveness is improved to the point where any action is executed without any delays. I also noticed that heart pulse sensor and GPS sensors have both quite improved from series 3, which is great as I rely on this watch for all my outdoor workouts. If you exercise outdoors quite a lot and have been eyeing new Garmin Fenix series smartwatches, take a look at WorkOutdoors app in the Apple App store. Needless to say, it removed any temptation I had to switch to Garmin series. I initially was concerned with battery life that seemed to last much less then my old watch, but since the WatchOS bug fix release, battery improved to the point that I don't worry anymore that it will die on me before I put it on charger at night. Something was off in the initial WatchOS 6.0 release and it affected many watches, but Apple quietly fixed the issue.

Bigger always on screen, better value, great look.
Oh this series 5 Apple Watch is so much better than my old series 3 and I will say that I used to have the cellular function which I dropped for the just the Bluetooth because I was paying $10 a month for that and I really didn’t need that cellular function at all it was something that I was paying extra for not utilizing so I’m kind of glad that I drop that cellular function off my I didn’t need it or you can buy the series 5 with cellular but it’s a necessary if you’re gonna have your phone with you almost all the time the only people who need cellular on the watch those who will leave your phone at home part of the time. The screen is 25% larger it stays on all the time it’s got a better processor it monitors your heart rate there’s so much I could say about this watch but I’ll just pretty much bar you so you’ll have to check one out yourself in the Apple Store something but it is so cool I mean it’s absolutely amazing and the screen is just so much bigger

Great watch and with a great price on Amazon
I was always on the fence about getting an apple watch, but the features of the Series 5 made me move forward with a purchase. Living in the time of COVID and while out doing essential errands, having this watch can make checking-in with family considerably easier, especially when you couple it with the AirPodsPro. Now I can simply just touch the dial or screen of my watch to communicate with others, without the need to touch my phone. I like being able to better track my activities for the day as well as check any immediate communications in a quick glance of my watch. The reminders to move, breath, etc... are all nice touches. I am still just figuring this thing out, but I am glad to have one. I haven't worn a watch in over 20 years.... Also Amazon had the best price of any vendors, $15 cheaper than Costco, and $40 cheaper than AppleStore.

Great watch with an almost infinite set of features
I was an early critic of the Apple Smartwatch, but started to see all the cool features it had from friends and colleagues. With the 5th generation coming out and the introduction of the 'always on' watch face, I was pulled over the line. I have it for a few weeks now and am very impressed with the features I've known about and the things I experienced along the way. Some of the cool features I was not aware off: it auto unlocks my Mac, it offers auto track in case I go hiking, it measures noise levels and can give you warnings in case it exceeds 90 dB's. The coolest however is the pay feature for wireless cash registers.
