Wonderful, easy to use water quality tool

I bought this because I am living in a rented house with a well for water and had no idea what my water quality was. This was super easy to use. All you have to do is remove the cap, press the power button, and stick the end in water! I give it a little swirl as well for good measure, but it reads almost instantly. I tested it with a couple bottled waters and with some creek water as well. I'm happy to say that my well water (filtered of course) at about 32 ppm is better than the Dasani water at about 34 ppm. Shockingly, the Dollar General water was at 1 ppm. All of them well below the EPA regulation of 500 ppm.

Fast measurement of water quality

I’ve always wonder how good my water filter is and always have to guess when to change the water filter. Having this device took the uncertainty away. It only takes 1-2 seconds to get the reading. I learned more about my my water quality and how it compare to bottled water. The device came with a pouch which is good for storage.

Wish I bought one of these years ago! I am using it to test the water I use for my sensitive carnivorous plants. I was previously having to buy bottled water whenever rainwater wasn't available. Now I finally learned that the water from my sink is actually safe to use instead! This device also measures the water temperature which is very helpful.
