Keeps out the cold
I live in an old hunting cabin that's drafty as hell, especially my front door. I've tried typical weather proofing strips, however they just suck. They all fall off and have never really helped with the massive amount of air that seeps in anyway. So as the temps dropped this year I decided I had to find something that could hopefully be more permanent and actually keep the cold out and the heat in. I happened upon these fantastic silicone strips and purchased the 35mm and 25mm for the bottem and sides of both of my doors. They stick really well, in fact I expect for them to stay stuck for a very long time. Buying both sizes was a good idea since the bottem of the door has a larger gap then the side. I did have to lift a section after trying to apply because for me trying to glue something in a straight line is apparently rocket science and trust me that has not been my career path. So they will lift paint, especially fresh paint because that's right, I also just painted my door the day before, like duh. Anyway they still stuck just fine and as I type this I'm warm and toasty with no draft to be found. Plus you get 26 ft for the exact same price as the others sell for 16 ft. Can't beat that, can ya? So I've done the bottems and sides of two 3ft wide doors and I have a lot left over incase I need it for windows or if I ever need to reapply to the doors. It's silicone so it's flexible which is great because it'll move with the door and gives it a tighter seal. I'm so happy I found these at a great price. I'll be using alot less propane this year! 😊

Works Great
This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something flexible and able to cover a wide gap between the floor and the door bottom. First I cleaned the bottom of the door with rubbing alcohol and had no trouble getting it to stick. I had a second door I used it on where the gap was wider than the silicone strip. I just attached a second strip to the original one and made it the length I needed.

STOPS DRAFTS IN THEIR TRACKS
If you haven't tried this product yet, what are you waiting for? The next high utility bill? I've become more and more draft savvy with each move I make. Just moved into a new place and I've never been so cold from drafts. I brought with me my draft stoppers for the doors from my previous residence but it didn't do much with all the drafts around this place. I started with the outlets but was still cold. Moved on to the windows, still cold, then to doors. Now I've done everything I can think of and I just insulated a coat closet that made my coat so cold I had to warm it up just to put it on. Now if I'm not the most efficiently draft stopped home in the neighborhood then I'm close. This product is easy to install, durable, efficient and has many uses and is almost invisible which is a plus, but I wouldn't care if it weren't just as long as it gets the job done and it does. I don't have a blow dryer but it adhered to a clean surface pretty good. I gave the adhesiveness 4 stars, but overall it's a 5 star product. Stop freezing your tushes off and get busy.

Great product!
I installed this on an older shower door that needed the strip replaced. This was EXACTLY what I needed! The adhesion worked perfect and it was very easy to install. So far it was been great at keeping all the water in the shower and not letting it seep through the cracks. The rubber is good quality as well. Overall it was definitely worth the price and I am so glad I found a great alternative that worked for my shower door.

Worked exactly as I needed it to work.
This worked great. Definitely can save your money! I was able to stop the air flow between my sliding door and sealed glass door. Saved me from having to pay for the removal of the door. It is 8 meters in length enough to use.

Easy to install and works great!
We’ve tried to fix gaps around our doors before and the cats or dogs always ends up tearing up the padding. This was so much easier to install and way more effective and durable. I think it took me about three minutes to do two doors. It was so cold outside and the draft was gone immediately and has stayed gone.

Many uses to block out cold air
I initially purchased for the bottom of my entry door. I realized the air was actually coming in above the lock (pic) This product made a big difference in that room. Im glad I purchased the 26ft because I was able to seal doors as well as an air gap alongside of my stone firplace, this worked perfectly (pic). I was pleased with the clear because it blends well.

Fantastic stuff! Using it for drafts and wind invasion around doors....
I couldn't believe how easy this 3M product was to use. I used it on my front hallway and basement doors and cut down wind invasion and drafts. My thermostat isn't going on (calling for heat as often) while still maintaining whatever temperature (I like to keep mine at 68 deg. F) as much as possible all year round! The tape is extremely forgiving and has a good bit of stretch to it and you can even reposition it once or twice before the adhesive becomes less tacky! TIP: measure carefully before you cut while keeping in mind that you want to stretch it a bit before application (you'll understand once you start because it is basically clear/translucent silicone tape with adhesive attached to one side. Also, If you don't like the way it looks it will come off w/o peeling what is underneath. Much easier than getting tiny carpet tacks and putting holes in your door! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I spend a small fortune in time, energy and moola buying and using stuff here on amazon so if this review was HELPFUL,...well, you know what to do! Many thanks fellow consumers!

Almost invisible, good seal
There is a significant gap between the front door and jamb on the knob and lock side of the door. Wind just blew in despite installing a new storm door a couple of years ago. I applied this product along both the door and jamb (so they would overlap when the door is closed) and it did the trick - no more cold wind whistling through! Seems to adhere well, too -we’ll see how long it lasts but so far, so good.
