So it was a super small package! Never used or seen how these looked(worked)I soaked it and it grew..pretty Kool! Then of course I put way too much thinking I don’t want to have to wait for them to grow if I did to little! But it’s a huge amount! A little goes a long way! I used it for my vases! And for the price, thumbs up! I included a pic of how much I soaked and also of how much I over did it by.. Yikes!! So the Plastic jar was how much I still had left after I put it in my vases!

These tiny seed like pieces come in a very small package. Don't be deceived by the way they start out. They grow in water. Big time. This package, when hydrated, filled 6 vases with plenty left over. I used tall pitchers for this process. Having helped with a large event that used them, I knew to anticipate the bouncy nature of these little devils when fully hydrated. They go everywhere! I found that emptying each pitcher of excess water, through the small spouts, helped greatly in the actual creative process with the colored "floating" pearls. It's done in layers, so control of the clear gel pieces is very important. I learned, the hard way, that a healthy margin at the top was vital. I am certain that with practice it will get easier.

I ordered the transparent beads for an event I have for school. The packet has a lot of beads and was misguided. I ended up placing the entire packets in water and realized that I had a lot of extra beads. I was able to fill 16 vases and still have 5 tubawear bowls of transparent beads left over. The great thing is that since it is Christmas time they can be used for anything! Definitely getting your moneys worth. I took pictures with the vases half full of water to see how they actually disappear when submerged in water.

I started experimenting with these in the 16 ounce mason jars and they do expand and fill the jars up and they do shrink when no more water is added and I did not have to use that much of them for one jar. I also was able to just sit my battery operated tealight on top (as shown in the picture attached). I will be using the jars for my daughter's baby shower to add pearls inside so they can float and tutus on the outside of the jar.

These are very easy to grow! I soaked them the day before my wedding. They grew in a couple hours. They maintained their size for five days without water! I then added water to them to keep them fresh and they stayed for about 2 weeks total before I tossed them

They definitely grow bigger than I expected but they did the job and only took a few hours to grow to full size! Just make sure to do it in layers and not all at once.

Loved them! Definietly follow directions and mix them in water the day before so they are at full size for your event the next day. They will stay for weeks!! One small package did 3 large floor vases (probably atleast a gallon of beads in each vase), a big fish bowl vase full and 2 smaller vases. Still had alittle left that was dropped on the floor or down the drain trying to move. Lol. Very pretty with floating candles.

These clear pearls worked great for the wedding decoration I was making. It also works great with food coloring :)

This is exactly what you need in order to get the effect of the floating pearl look in a vase. These things expand very, very quickly so I would only use a little bit at a time as I had my bowls overflowing not realizing how much I had put in a bowl of water! LOL! So, easy on how much you use and you should wait quite a few hours before then using them to make a design, such as with the pearls in a vase, or you will wake up to water beads everywhere!

They are clear and bright and easy to use. I had never purchased water beads before and we've had a lot of fun with these. I ordered a few different colors from different brands. These are smaller when fully wet than the others (and smaller beads when dry). Not a big deal unless uniformity is what you are going for. If you need them to be uniform - order all of your colors from the same manufacturing company.
