I am really impressed with this wood burner. I am an experienced crafter that has tried many wood burners and this one exceeded my expectations! It is super smooth and consistent, which I have found other burners to not be. I am so happy with my purchase!!!

sturdy working tool.

Heats up quickly, sturdy working tool. Not flimsy and tips stay secure. While you can't hold like a pen or pencil due to the heat, it does not take a lot of pressure to burn your pattern. Multiple tips make it easy to burn your pattern quickly and accurately. Would recommend

Highly Recommended!

This wood burner is great. It's very lightweight and easy to handle and bonus, the handle never get hot. It heats quickly. The tips screw in every evenly by hand, no tools necessary to get them in or out and it seems that it is not even possible to over-tighten them yet they are in there very securely. The shipping was crazy fast and I am completely satisfied with my choice. I purposely bought this one because it didn't have a temp control, I considered that something that could possibly go wrong, add weight and make the entire tool longer making it harder to use for someone with small hands. I did buy a separate rheostat to control the temp which works out perfectly. To newbies like me, I suggest reading all the instructions, including the PDF Mr. Chandler sends out when he ships his product (nice touch), invest in a little bottle of graphite powder and have patience with heating and cooling. Mr. Chandler another reason for my choice was that I read many reviews and noticed that you were the only one to answer people's reviews and questions personally. Most other sellers let other customers answer questions. It is rare to find someone who stands behind their product. Thank you.

I seemed to have lost my old wood burning tool. I'm now glad that I did. The chandler Tool is so much better than any that I have used. It heats up fast, it has a nice variety of tips and it is very easy to hold. If your looking for a great multi-purpose wood burning tool, I recommend this one. I use it for putting my name on my wood projects, drawing in wood and for use with my 3-D pen projects.

Best wood burning tool I’ve owned

I bought this to replace the last woodburner I had which burnt out a few weeks ago. This looked different than the ones everyone else sells (which burn out) so I gave it a shot and I’m glad I did. Quality is obvious. Heat is very stable. Tips are exactly what you need. Highly recommend. Some tips for newbies: #1: Don’t overtighten tips or you’ll break them. Don’t use pliers. Just tighten firmly by hand #2: Have patience! Let the heat do the work. Pressing hard accomplishes nothing. Slow down & lighten up, especially with thin point tips. Happy Crafting!

New obsession!

I love my wood burner. I got it to make a frame as a gift, but the tool is is so easy to use and looks great on the wood that I'm thinking wood burning will be my new hobby. I usually am not a huge crafter / DIYer so I was intimidated at first, but this tool is so easy to use -- it's just like a pen, and creates a really quality product. Can't recommend enough!

Great basic wood burning set

I’ve bought a couple of different sets that were larger, but found that I needed another tool to use for several group projects we’ve been working on. This filled the need. It’s simple, basic, made well, easy to use, and without repurchasing all the extras I already had from my other kits. Exactly what I was looking for.

Love it!

I'm just getting into wood burning and this tool works perfectly for me. Ive been using it a lot for the past 2 months and I've had no issues with the tips breaking. There's no temperature control, but it maintains temperature, and you dont need to push hard. Make sure to read the tips they send you.

I was learning to wood burn with an old one we had that apparently didn't get nearly hot enough. I ordered this one, not wanting to spend a ton while I am still learning and I LOVE it! It heats up quickly and seems to maintain temperature well. It's also a lot more comfortable to hold than the one I started with.
