This light is great bang for the buck.

I have been looking for a small inexpensive light for my work. Then I came across this light and thought for the price, I would give it a shot. All I can say is “WOW, this is powerful little light.” It is super easy to work. It has 5 levels of brightness and a few levels to control the temperature. This light also runs on the built in rechargeable battery which makes it easy use. After playing around with this light, I definitely will be buying a couple more. A word of warning, don’t look directly into the light. You will see spots for days. The photo is of myself taken on an iPhone 7+ in a completely dark room and the light was about an arm lengths away from my face. The light was set at the lowest setting cause any brighter would blow out the photo. No post editing was done on the photo, just straight out of phone.

Great Little Light for your Vlogging

So if you're looking for a nice, affordable, little light to make your videos stand out with decent lighting, look no further, this is the product for you. The main reason I went for this lamp was basically the great amount of 5-star reviews as well as the fact that it was rechargeable (something that is not easy to find). I was really impressed with the overall performance, I had my doubts once I opened the box, but after trying it out and recording a couple of videos I can say that it is really nice. You can see a more detailed explanation of the light in the attached video. I haven't had the chance to test it out on the outdoors yet, I will update my review once I do it since I don't have a rig to be able to use both my phone and the light.

exactly what I wanted

A tiny light that can fit in a mount, or balance on its own. The white light is easy to balance for, and bright enough to illuminate a surprisingly large area, or provide flash-like effects for a smaller area (like erasing shadows, smoothing minor imperfections). It's rechargeable, so no worrying about batteries (and the permanent battery makes for a lighter unit). Pros: * Very bright. I rarely use mine at the highest setting. * Good battery life. * Modern USB-C style power connector. No custom charger, yay! * Good fit for one-handed use. * Can be used as a flashlight (and it's way cheaper than your smartphone, so a much safer choice for waving around) Negatives: * Don't look directly at the unfiltered LED or you'll see spots for a while * A larger diffuser would make for more even lighting * It doesn't fit in the hot shoe of my Canon EOS M6 (just a little too big) Overall, a surprisingly functional and useful light, and well-priced. Highly Recommended.

Great little light but does not work while charging

I was unable to continue operating the light while it was plugged in. To test this, I drained the battery, plugged it in for a few minutes, then tried to run the light on full brightness while plugged in. The light turned off after a few minutes. Perhaps I needed to plug it into a higher amperage USB charger. Just be aware if you buy this light you may not be able to operate it while charging. Otherwise the light is a great value for the price.

Ok I'm not a professional but my sister is and she said it was amazing and from my use this light is hands down worth every penny I'm buying another one asap. Battery life is beyond a hour on MAX I use it with 4k30fps and color and saturation is amazing and looks closest to daylight than any indoor lighting. Indoors you can have it ar the first setting for casual part recording and go up from there fro production quality lighting. I even used it for a lamp when doing a tattoo in a low light situation and it was perfect natural lighting. The diffuser is what makes this light so great with any camera application. Maybe some color gels over the diffuser would be a great effect too. Well I'm rambling. Dont sleep on this light you'll buy more than 1 for sure.

Great versatile light

Compact and with enough power to light vlogging at night, or use it for accent backlight. I’m never crazy about built in batteries but it makes sense for something this small. Plus I’m always losing AAAs and hate that I forget to bring them. Nowadays we can charge this everywhere, in the car, by laptop, by external packs etc. It only emits 5500 ish color temp. Would like a warmer color option but that’s about it. Although it’s a small light, it has a diffusing cover so it’s not as bad, but don’t think you’ll get big soft box results. Overall very versatile. For the price you can’t beat it.

Amazing photo, video, and task light.

I bought this awesome light after my son bought one. Once I saw this little thing in action, it was a no brainer. It is great for photography and videography and other tasks where an adjustable compact light is needed. I will be buying another so I can have light from multiple angles during photo shoots. The price and quality is a real motivator.

Great light for a great price.

Firstly, see my video review for all the details. But in summary, I am a Youtuber and here's what I like: 1. Portable (light weight but durable, you can put it in your pocket) 2. Gorgeous soft (and bright) natural light 3. Five settings of brightness 4. Rechargeable lithium battery lasts forever 5. If you want, you can connect multiple lights together in an unlimited fashion I will be using this when I do my vlogging in cars or anywhere I need to be bathed in a nice soft bright light. Highly recommended.

Rather have 2 of these than 1 Aperture.

Sure I'd love to get some Ap lights down the road. But after all the video reviews I've watched, You get FAR more bang for the buck getting two of these over one of the small Apertures. These are perfect. Small, VERY bright, GREAT battery life. Cold shoes all around and a 1/4 female thread on the bottom. I have a C-Clamp with a mini ball head, used for latching onto rail rods and holding external monitors etc. Well I've recently been using that clamp to attach this light to ANYTHING when shooting outside at night. clamp onto a road sign, a handrail, whatever. and the little ballhead lets me angle the light at anything I need. This is GREAT for getting cool light shots at night or casting perfect shadows. For those interested the clamp I'm talking about is a "SMALLRIG Super Clamp Mount with Mini Ball Head Mount Hot Shoe Adapter with 1/4 Screw," 14 bucks. Sure you could throw it on a Gorillapod, but this tiny clamp mount fits in my bag or pocket and lets me throw these lights anywhere. Love them.

This is really a very handy light.

Love the features and the light it puts out. Pros: Easy light intensity adjustment. USB C charging. No external batteries. Fits in hot shoe but is a cold shoe device. Can be mounted together to increase light output. Cons: I really don't have one. It does what they say it should. Conclusion: Need a light that is compact and bright and you don't need a flood of light, this is the one. I will be purchasing additional to piece them together when I require more light.
