I was not even aware this item came with 2 face covers! A pleasant surprise when the box arrived. While I purchased this item for hygienic purposes, it also served a purpose I did not expect. At least for me, I am able to get a much better field of view before lens/face contact with the cover installed on my Valve Index! The covers feel soft yet durable. The attachment method works quite well and retention to the headset is quite secure. I've machine washed 1 of the covers in my normal cotton laundry 3 times now and let air dry and its held up perfectly.

Pretty good, actually!

I used another set of pleather VR Covers for my HTC Vive that were ok. Didn't really fit worth a damn, hard to keep in place. Tried these from the same company for my Index, since there really wasn't any other options right now except the silicone ones I didn't want. These are nice. They feel soft, wick sweat like they need to, and provide an extra layer of protection from the stock cover. I don't think these have any sort of inner layer or hydrophobic coating on the back side to prevent moisture from wicking all the way through, so if you really drench the thing I'd imagine it's going to still get moisture all the way to the original padding. (I may try adding a spritz of NeverWet to the backside of the second cover, or maybe even the Index pad itself, to see...) The fit is much improved from the original Vive model I remember. A bit of a pain to get on and off, fitting tiny elastic hoops over the prongs of the face thing, but it's manageable. Just not super quick to swap. It feels like it'll hold well, however. Fits nicely, and provides complete coverage for everything except the very bottom of the nosehole bit. Overall, I'm OK with these.

Worth the money

They're very comfortable and help keep you cool and the Index clean. Used it at a party with lots of people switching off between rounds, no complaints of sweat.

Best solution for facial hygiene

The absolute perfect solution to having good hygiene for your face. It actually comes with two and even comes with a few wipes to wipe your headset down. Very much machine washable, I recommend Air drying them, but still come out of the dryer just fine. Just be careful not to lose them in the dryer :)

When the index was very new I was skeptic about this item being on the market already. It’s worth guys...if you ever sweats which is inevitable on the fast pace games. I bought extra to cycle between.

GET THIS FOR YOUR INDEX

This is an absolute must accessory to keep the visor part sweat and most free. Easy to put on and it's very durable while being soft on the face. The extra layer of cloth even helps immersion!

Great for showing VR to friends!

Fairly easy to switch between the 2 included covers, and I honestly think it’s more comfortable with the cover on than with no cover because it deals with sweat better than the original face cover.

you will sweat a lot when you play VR games, especially beat saber and VR boxer, this helps keep your index clean, so it won't smell after a week......
