Is it weird that i like this over the Leather/Faux Leather counter parts? Mostly i like how soft and flexible the base face mask the quest comes with. I just wanted something to block out the light from around the nose. As well as something that can be easily cleaned if i let other people use it. Now, it does cause a bit more sweat and you do have to clean it more often. But it means that none of your sweat is getting into the fabric. And the silicon holds it in place on your face very nicely. I like it.

Great product for the price. Comfortable and hygienic add on. If your on a budget, this needs to be your first quest upgrade. Works great if you wear glasses. I use vr cover for myself. I like to snap this on with oculus stock face plate when demonstrating for others. Personally I dont wear glasses, have a very small IPD , and need a larger FOV. So I use the vr cover basic interface kit which is $29 plus the smaller foam replacement for $19. Then you have shipping $7. So $55 total. If you wear glasses on my setup, you'll also need to order special lenses made. Overall this is a great product and very affordable for anyone to use. I recommend it.

If you are looking for a cover for your Oculus Quest that avoids sweat getting into the foam cover, practical to install, easy to clean, ultra comfortable, reduce/remove light bleeding from nose-pocket and great value... then the Esimen' VR Face Silicone Cover Mask is by far THE best solution! Paper masks are OK, but some people feel self-conscious abut them (you do look a little weird) and are not good for the environment. Plastic/vinyl covers are better, but they would absorb some sweat and eventually need to be washed. This silicone cover can go over the standard foam padding, or some of the 3rd party vinyl ones for extra comfort/hygiene. I'm testing our BLUE silicone cover in a higher education setting... everyone has given positive feed back about it. Would I buy more? DEFINITELY! I plan to order a black one, as well as 2 more blue ones. I would like to address few comments: * LIGHT PENETRATION: I got the Blue one and I would agree that we see a faint "blue glow" when putting the Quest on, or when in a super bright room. It is not a deterrent... real minimal glow. I will buy a black one, to see if it blocks 100% of light or if we see a faint "grey glow". * FIT: The silicone cover fits perfectly with the standard Facial Interface Bracket. Because we have so many users, we have the Facial Interface Bracket for GLASSES. With this bracket, the silicone cover works well for the user, but does not perfect in the top of the Quest. This makes it "easy" to slip the cover out when not wearing the Quest. In the other hand, it makes it easier to put in the Quest. :P This is NOT an issue for the user, nor causes issues. Suggestions for Manufacturer 1) It would be nice if there was a way to secure the silicone cover, especially from the top. 2) Maybe mold a cover for the Facial Interface Bracket for Glasses. You could sell those together as a kit, or individually.

Before I got my quest I loved the idea of taking turns with my loved ones for games like Beat Saber. Once I got my Oculus I quickly grew to HATE sharing it. The face padding is made of foam and as you sweat, your sweat is absorbed into the foam and takes forever to dry. As someone who has to work very hard to keep acne at bay- this was a nightmare for me. Browsing online for a solution I liked some fancy expensive pads i saw on some website but decided to go with this instead, since I could get it much quicker. Oh man I am so happy i did! This cover is ridiculously easy to slip on, easy to take off, easy to clean. And actually makes the headset SOOO much more comfortable against my face. Finally!! I can hygenicly share my quest with my significant other and not cringe as I see him sweat. And the headset feels great on! Cool, soft, comfortable. The only down side is the nose part of the cover pretty much constantly slightly comes off where it's supposed to be. It hasn't caused any issues while playing, even during the most rigorous gaming. But in my down moments between levels I am fixing it from time to time which only takes a few seconds. Definitely not world shattering, only mildly inconvenient. Also! I have a smaller nose so I tend to get a lot of light coming up through that space in the normal headset. With this cover on, it reduces the amount of external light coming through which adds to the immersion. Honestly so happy I bought this.

I love that this is a soft, smooth silicone. Before my brother told me about this item my poor nose would hurt so bad after playing. I purchased this as soon as he told me about it and I love it. The only downfall is that switching from one player to another, it'll fall off so we have to keep putting it back on. But I still like it and recommend it.

Bought this for my Oculus Quest because after a few levels of BOXVR, I had a sweat soaked sponge strapped to my face. I used to have a pleather VRCover back when I had a Rift but I didn't love it. It wasn't super comfortable and was VERY overpriced for what it was. Found a seemingly infinite number of listings for these silicone covers and gave this Esimen one a shot. It just fits over your existing face foam; pretty easy to put on and take off. Blocks all sweat and actually kind of routes it down the sides of your face instead of onto the top of your Quest. It's surprisingly comfortable too, for a piece of non breathable silicone strapped to your face, likely due to the fact that you are retaining the soft pliability of the original foam. I haven't had any issue with lens fog. The nose guard blocks a good amount of light, and though not perfect it's significantly better than what you get with the standard quest. It's super easy to clean up. I haven't had any issues with it activating the proximity sensor on the inside of the Quest. These are way too many words about a floppy piece of silicone to put on your nerd helmet. It's great. It's comfortable, it fits well, it works, it's $13. Can't ask for much more.

Using my Oculus Quest primarily to stay in shape during COVID-19 via BoxVR and Beat Saber, the padding around the eyes absorbs a great deal of sweat and is prone to an bad odor over time. Additionally, when playing with friends, you don't want to put someone else's sweat up against your own face no matter how healthy they are. This silicone cover is a dream come true. Not only does it maintain the comfort of the headpiece (it goes over the padding, rather than replacing it), but it also helps keep out more light around your nose. Get sweaty using your Quest? No problem, towel down the silicone cover after use or before handing it to the next person and you're good to go! No leftover juices, no smell!

Soooo comfortable and snug, blocks out nose bleed light, and super easy to clean just by wiping it down! Does not add to the weight unlike other covers. Great deal to boot, price just right! Lessens the red marks on my face as well!

Perfect fit. The black one blends in perfectly with my Quest. A must have for sweaty games. The nose piece blocks out the annoying window of light. I keep disposable alcohol wipes to disinfect when sharing my quest, or for general cleaning. It works a treat.

If you plan on showing off your headset to friends or family or if you’re in to the more sweat inducing games like BOXVR, Pistol Whip, Beat Saber, etc. then this cover is a must have! While I love the feel of the Quest’s stock facial interface, I quickly realized that cleaning the foam/fabric combo properly after the more intense sessions was going to get old fast. This slides right over the existing interface with a barely there feel. Then it’s very easy to wipe down with an alcohol free anti bag wipe in between users or after a good sweat.
