Better than my old CVS thermometer

I was hesitant to purchase any thermometer during these times. I'd read reports of faulty medical equipment sold by unscrupulous vendors taking advantage of increased demand. And as of the date of this review (August 19, 2020), many of the thermometer listings on Amazon have very little history. It is hard to trust a brand or seller that just popped up a couple of months ago in the midst of the pandemic. But, I needed a thermometer for a family member and tried this "fermometer" brand, as sold by BONGMI, INC., and I am happy to report that it functions properly. I compared it to my old CVS-branded digital thermometer and found that this thermometer reads more quickly, beeps more loudly when it has finished reading, and is as accurate. Both thermometers registered within 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit in a variety of tests in the 98 to 105 degree range. I can't speak to long-term reliability, but out of the box this "fermometer" works as advertised.

Works very well and is accurate

I saw a few reviews after I purchased saying that it could take minutes to get a reading. This honestly takes like 15-20 seconds to give you its final reading as long as you’re placing it properly. I have used this every day since purchasing since I have to check my temperature before I go to my job, and the one that work had provided wasn’t really working well. I’m hoping that this lasts a long time since I am going to need to continue to use it every day once my school starts back up again

Works great!

The thermometer works great. I would have liked the beep to be a bit lower in sound but it works great. The thermometer reads pretty quickly. It is easy to use and comes in a plastic storage. Love the color combo aswell. Great product overall.

Convenient & Efficient Thermometer!

This thermometer is great! In a day of COVID, and also while trying to conceive, we are happy to have this thermometer on hand! It gives an accurate and fast reading, and the reading is clearly legible on the digital screen. The design/colors are aesthetically appealing, which is a rare find for thermometers on the market these days. The battery looks super easy to replace, even though we haven’t had to yet (the one it came with is still going strong). Also, one thing that really stood out to me about this product was the storage case it came with. The case has small air slots in the end, so that after cleaning it can easily be placed back into the case. With other thermometers, I’m always afraid to stick the thermometer back in the air-tight case it came with - even after towel drying it - out of fear any remaining moisture will get trapped and rust or degrade the thermometer, so this small feature gives me peace of mind and is super convenient! This was a great purchase and one I would highly recommend.

Great thermometer for the money

Excellent thermometer. Got this right at the start of the covid-19 pandemic and it has continued to give me accurate reliable body temps throughout the entire thing.when it boots up it gives you what the normal body is...the last reading you had, then it reads “lo”, which means it’s ready to be used. Does what you need for unbeatable $price

This thermometer is definitely quality. Its a simple version compared to their other models which might do more than you need, or be at a higher price point. The battery cover is an easy slide on and off with a rubber seal. This thermometer will read your temperature and display it like this: 98.6F or C, and it remembers the last temperature taken. I’ll attach a picture of the spec sheet. This type of model would cost $29.99- 39.99 in CVS or Walmart, I checked both. And the craftsmanship is more quality. I find that these devices are expertly made in China. I have two of their devices, because the technology is unparalleled. If you track your fertility look into their hi-tech thermometers with apps, they are so cool! As a computer scientist, I can really appreciate this nerd stuff! Awesome work fermometer guys!

Quick, easy reads

This works nicely in the diaper bag. I can get temperature readings quickly and without a fuss. It's very lightweight and runs on hearing aid batteries. The display is clear and easy to read and the measurements are accurate.

Works as intended

Just opened the package. Cleaned the thermometer and holding case with alcohol. Turned it on and tried it. It takes about 1 minute to read the temp. It beeps to notify you once it’s done reading it. Seems to Work.
