  • To measure your horse, use a soft fabric tape measure from the center of your horse's chest (where the base of the neck meets the chest), come around the widest part of the shoulders then barrel, around the hips and flank all the way to the point just before the tail. The inch measurement you get is your horse's blanket size. If your horse is between sizes, round up to the next size.

I ordered the wrong size by mistake. I contacted the seller directly via Amazon. They got back to me quickly and instructed me how to order the correct size. I have ordered 3 pony size blankets in the past month or so (from 3 different seller's)and this company provided the best fit and very good quality. My Pony measures 60'. But the first company ran big. The second company I ordered a 58, a little too snug, plus it likes to slide longer in one side. Very annoying if you are OCD. AJ Tack sold me a blanket that fits my Pony just the way I would like it to.I ordered a 58", it doesn't slide around, the straps aren't too long, like so many others. I'm happy and my Pony is warm, dry and safe in a blanket that fits. So I would probably order 2" down from what your pony measures based on this blanket. Welsh Hackney cross 12h.

Perfect

I ordered this for an 8 month old colt for a Michigan winter. I don’t like foals being cold and burning calories to try to stay warm. This was a verrrry nice blanket for the price. I would definitely order another in this brand again!! I ordered a little bigger than needed, hoping he can get two seasons out of it. The cammo print is vibrant and cute. It shipped really fast. I am very happy with my purchase.

Too roomy for llamas or alpacas

Seems like a nice blanket - I am not able to use it as it's too large (roomy) for our alpacas. I measured them at 52" and this blanket swims on them, even with the straps at their shortest. Selected a similar size Amigo foal blanket instead and that seems to fit better.

Got this for my daughter as a gift. The seller, AJ Tack was very good to work with to get a quick shipment. I don't know squat about blankets for horses, etc. but my daughter said it is great.

Works for llamas too!

So grateful this product was available to ship overnight. We are expecting windchill’s of 40 below and our llama needed protection. We had to modify the straps a little but are confident this will get her through the rough weather.

Great blanket

Absolutely love this blanket. Fits my pony perfectly. We had our first snow and freezing weather for the year and this blanket kept my pony good and warm!
