I’ve had one of these units for around a year now and just purchased two more. They’re great for storage of small items - I use mine for craft supplies. The wheels come detached from the unit, so one can decide to add them or not. The drawers are translucent but not perfectly clear, so one can easily see what’s inside without needing to wipe off fingerprints multiple times a day.

My daughter uses this for her makeup. It is just the right size to roll up under her desk when she is not using it, and she can easily see what is in each drawer without having to open each one. We would absolutely purchase this again.

NICE STORAGE FOR MY CRAFTING SUPPLIES (I.E. TRANSFER PAPER, VINYL). YOU CANT PUT REALLY HEAVY THINGS IN THE DRAWERS OR IT WILL TILT. BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WORKS PERFECTLY FOR ME.

I bought the 6 drawer to organize legos and it’s perfect. Simple assembly -only had to put on wheels and I included a photo of what it looked like upon arrival. It works fine for my intended purpose. The drawers easily slide out so heavy items stored in the drawers could topple it if you pull out the drawers at the same time, but I am not using it for heavy items so it’s perfect for me. There is also a concern that my 4yr old will pull too hard and legos will go everywhere, but that’s my issue :)

Easy to assemble and sturdy frame. I can take the drawers out when loaded by pushing in the sides of drawer, but they do not fall out or slide all the way out. I keep my painting supplies in it and it is just perfect for this use. I did make sure I put the heavier items in the bottom drawer.

Love this cart. I keep my hobby supplies in it. It is the perfect size for my storage needs. I really like the way the drawers don’t come all the way out. Definitely saves me a mess.

If you are looking to watch your budget and don't want to spend the money on the wooden drawer units this is a great option. It's not as wide as the wooden ones, but I actually like the size. I would say it's the perfect size. There are others that are wider than this one, so check the measurements and actually look at a tape measure so you know the size before your buying. It's easy and simple to make custom drawer organizers fit to size. Using foam board (just $1 a sheet at Dollar Tree stores), walmart and craft stores also carry it for a bit more money a sheet. You can use duct tape or fabric to cover the foam board and make it pretty or masculine depending on who is using the drawer organizers. Make them to fit your needs depending on how it's going to be used. This would be great for makeup, jewelry, legos, barbie clothes or accessories, tools, nuts, bolts, screws or all that other home stuff that is needed from time to time. I used duct tape for mine, using strips of the tape to cover the larger pieces of foam board. They are not seen in the photo. [...] (link to youtube for video instructions) I also have more organizing ideas on my pinterest page. [...] When I say the picture doesn't do it justice, I do mean that. The pictures uploaded on amazon really do make it look plastic (yes i know it is) and cheap. It reminds me of the cheaper deeper drawer units that you can find at stores like walmart. The plastic itself on those (at walmart) are flimsy. These are not, and the sides of the drawers are more square and elegant looking for a plastic unit. I highly recommend this unit and I will be buying more or organize a more variety of items, rather than just my cosmetics. To give it a more custom feel, remove the drawers and lightly sand the unit and prime using the spray version and spray paint in the color you prefer. I have also seen where people add colored or printed paper to the front inside of the drawers so that is an option regardless if you leave the unit black or white or spray paint it a custom color. Or spray paint it a neutral color so it isn't so stark with white. If you leave it white or a neutral color you can also change out the papers for different seasons and holidays throughout the year. Or just to give it a new look when you tire of the old one for very little money. Keep the old ones so you can swap them back in from time to time as you slowly build up your collection or pass them on to a friend. I did add a cell phone picture so you can kinda see what I am talking about it looking better in person instead of the amazon pictures. I hope that helps.

I purchased 2 of these and love them both. This has 6 smaller drawers that I use for patterns and to store crocheted squares in progress. The only assembly required is to pop on the wheels and walla - done!

I was looking for something that would hold tatting threads and equipment, and this seemed ideal from the description. It is a lovely cart with drawers very suitable to holding my threads, tatting shuttles, and patterns for easy access. It doesn't house larger size threads, like size 10 crochet cotton, as the drawers are too small. They are about 2.5 inches in height, while larger gauge thread balls are at least 4." A crocheter, for instance, might prefer a cart with bigger drawers, a knitter almost certainly. The plastic sides allow me to view the rows of thread balls I have stored there, and the top houses small tools, larger thread balls, and my lace "in progress." The wheels work very nicely across the floors of my uncarpeted living room where I keep it, so I can easily move the cart out of the way when I'm not working on my lace. I agree with those who complained that the cart was inappropriate for tool storage. Depending upon the types of tools stored, they would probably weigh down the cart and stall the opening of drawers. While I can pinch the sides of the drawers to pull a tray of threads beyond the "stops," I suspect doing that to pull out a collection of wrenches, screw drivers, etc. would not be very doable. It might even risk the well-being of your toes should you decide to get "forceful!" I doubt it would even do well housing a large collection of nuts, bolts and screws and for the same reason, the weight of the collection. The woodworker or "engineer" type might find this cart a good storage place for paper items like design materials, commercial patterns and supplies. I suspect that those wishing to store tools and other shop items would be happier with a standard metal or wood-built tool cart. For the arts and crafts crowd, however, this works well.

I am a teacher using this for each class periods papers. I love the organizer top for pens, paperclips etc
