- With this PCIe SATA card, you can add Eight SATA 3.0 6 Gbps devices to your computer (two of the satellites require a driver).
- The PCIe SATA card contains eight SATA cables to simplify the connection!
- Use the Marvell 88SE9215 + JMicron JMB5xx chip to improve card stability and compatibility
- Connect 8 mass storage devices at the same time. With Windows XP / 7/8/10 / MAC / NAS / Ubuntu
- Note: The 8-port does not support RAID. The RAID in INTEL is only for original SATA. It is an expansion card that cannot support third-party chips.

Fantastic!
I am running Ubuntu Linux 16.04 right now and this card fired right up and recognized all of my hard drives without any drivers needing to be installed. I call this a win!

Works great with unRAID!
Works with Unraid Out of the box! Some pass reviews of other PCIE adapters said it’s hit or miss with on unraid but my guess is with the latest updates this card works right out of the box. I didn’t get the eight port card because it wasn’t in stock but I opted for the six port and all six ports are occupied and working properly and detected in the OS of unraid. No issues with iommu or connectivity.

Works great with driver installed
MOBO would only recognize 4 out of the 8 HDDs. Once in windows, after installing the driver, all 8 drives are recognized correctly. Driver comes on a mini cd disk which is a bit inconvenient considering that optical drives are not as widely used. Took some effort to find a pc with optical drive, copying the driver to a usb, and then do the installation on the target machine. Tried the windows 10 built-in raid, but that failed without given specific error. Have not tried other options, but hope other software raid would work. Overall, everything worked fine so far. It's a good value for the money. And the pcb is black, looks nice too.

Works like a champ!
I bought this to upgrade the amount of storage space my FreeNAS holds. and it works well without drivers needing to be installed so far! I haven't added enough storage bays to be able to use all 8 slots, so i am currently occupying the 6 that are on one side. From what i understood is that you need the drivers to use the 2 on the top, however i have not been able to confirm nor deny that yet. I haven't had any issues yet. Has been great for my needs! Hope this helps for those of you looking for FreeNAS at least!

Excellent way to add a bunch of drives to your computer
I bought this card needing to add several drives into my windows 10 Storage Space. I also added a couple of SSDs in the Storage Space for a landing zone to speed up the Storage Space. This card performs great and included 8 SATA cables. I am very happy. The price is great and the performance is also great. I installed the driver from the included CD and the card has worked perfectly. I would buy this card again.

Good chip so far but get separate cables
The cables that come with this are very low quality so be sure to buy a separate set. However, the chip has been working great and it's set up in raid from my mobo. It's only been a month so I can't testify to it's longevity yet. If ur having issues with it recognizing more than 3 drives, u need to install the drivers correctly. I used the asmedia driver first and it didn't work. Go into Device Manager and under Sata Controllers right click Standard Sata Controller and click update driver by browsing to folder for your OS on the driver disk and click ok. It will install the correct Marvell driver and your in business.

After driver hiccup, everything working!
People still use CDs? After a series of messages back and forth between Meizhou, I was able to get drivers installed. I recently acquired a number of high quality Seagate hard-drives. This product came with all the extra cables (not power, but that is understandable) and accessories. I can safely say I have more hard-drive space than I know what to do with, but as most folks know, computer lie #1 is "You will never need all that memory".

Works strait out of the box no Drivers needed.
I plugged this into a B450 Tomahawk Max MB running 6 10Tb Drives. and 1 small SSD drive 240gb FreeNAS system and it booted strait up. seeing all 6 drives. If this fails at some point I will by another for myself!

Fine product.
I installed this expansion card into my ASUS HERO VI Wi-Fi Motherboard without issue. I am running Windows 10 Ultimate and the drivers were detected and installed automatically (No need to use the driver CD). The card is well built and it comes with 8 SATA cables that have locking clips on both ends. Highly recommended!

A normal 6 port SATA controller, they all work. I have no complaints.
It even boots. I have no real issues. the only issue i may of had was transferring from legacy single disk on a seperate raid controller to a disk on this controller - but that one part was just a bit slowe, and i dont even have that problem going from a NORMAL raid to disks or software disk raid on this controller. might be a problem with my drivers, but even that isnt even a problem any more with my setup. good card. 6 ports, im good.
