The Campark T85 Trail Camera does exactly what it promises...and does it very well!
First I would like to say that I have owned several action cameras from other companies (including Campark) so I know my way around one of these. I also know what to look for based on my past experiences (both good and bad). As with the other Campark cameras I have owned, the packaging is top notch. Everything comes protected and nothing is loose. What you get: (1) Trail Camera (1) Adjustable mount (with standard mounting screws that will work with almost any camera) (1) Mounting plate (for somewhat permanent mounting) (1) Adjustable mounting strap (for securing camera to a tree or pole...etc) (1) Set of mounting screws for mounting plate (1) USB cable to connect camera directly to computer for data transfer What you don't get: (8) AA alkaline batteries (camera does NOT have rechargeable batteries) (1) DC power supply (only needed if being used indoors as a security camera) (optional) (1) SD card (or miniSD card with adapter) of up to 128gb The 'short' review: This camera is rugged. Made of thick plastic that does not flex like cheap plastic. The mounting options should work for 99% of your needs both inside and outdoors. The wi-fi and Bluetooth options work very well with the app. Setup is easy and straight forward. The directions are well written and easy to understand. Picture and video quality are superb (in both normal light and total darkness). Campark customer service is among the best I have ever dealt with. Campark stands behind their product 100%. The 'long' review: This is a TRAIL CAMERA...it is NOT an action camera! While you can use it like a normal camera it is bulky and tough to use in that manner (but that is not what it was made to do). When using this while mounted to something like a post/tree/fence/wall, it works wonderfully! SETUP: First thing you need to do before using this camera is purchase 8 'AA' alkaline batteries and an SD card (or micro SD card with and adapter) because the camera does NOT come with them. Setting this camera up is a breeze when following the well-written and easy-to-read instructions. Did I just say that a camera that is made in China has directions that are well-written and easy-to-read? YEP! I was up and running in about 10 minutes. Be sure to connect this securely so that wind won't cause it to shake and your pictures/video will turn out great. USE: Navigating the menus via the camera (and via wi-fi/Bluetooth) is quite easy and intuitive. Wi-Fi extended to the edge of my property (about 100ft away). Batteries last quite awhile when taking pictures but taking video (especially the highest quality at night) will drain the batteries much quicker. This is explained in the manual and is typical for all cameras. My favorite setting is when it will take 3 pictures when it detects movement and then starts taking video. That keeps me from having to take screen shots from video after I download it to my computer. PICTURE AND VIDEO QUALITY: I have to say that this camera takes excellent pictures in complete darkness! I wasn't expecting much in dark situations because most cameras are terrible at it. This camera takes very crisp black and white photos/video in complete darkness. With a 20mp sensor, it takes superb pictures/video in normal lighting conditions as well. Sound quality is surprising as well. The mic picks up sound quite well from a distance. You can playback video AND sound right from the camera which is another plus! CONSTRUCTION and DURABILITY: While I have not had this camera long, I feel that it will last quite awhile even in adverse conditions. It is IP66 rated so it can easily stay dry during very hard rain/wind. The case is constructed of some very thick and sturdy plastic with quality latches to keep it closed. It even has place to put a normal sized padlock on to make it harder for somebody to open it up. Having 2 different threaded camera mounts really makes it easy to mount and get the shot you need. You can also use standard action camera accessories and tripods that are compatible with standard screw mounts. PHOTO and VIDEO MANAGEMENT: Downloading files from the Campark T85 Trail Camera is quite easy: You can download files directly to your phone over wi-fi using the Campark phone app, you can utilize the supplied USB cord to connect directly to your computer, or you can transfer files by removing the SD card and plugging it into your computer. It doesn't get much easier than that. THINGS TO DO WITH THIS CAMERA: Great for: hunters to see where and when the animal(s) are frequenting the potential site, bird watching, put this by a humming bird feeder, security in low light areas, use as a 'time-lapse' to record flowers opening up or plants growing, animal watching...and many more! WHAT TO EXPECT FROM CAMPARK: I purchased an action camera (NOT this model) from Campark in 2019 and ran into a problem with wi-fi connectivity. I emailed customer service and they helped me through a lot of troubleshooting over a few days. When we couldn't get it working, they immediately sent me a new one at not cost! After that, they followed up with me several times to make sure I was still happy and that the camera was still working correctly. It is hard enough finding domestic company who will treat you this way and I was definitely not expecting to get this type of treatment from a foreign company! WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS?? Hit the 'Buy' button now! PS: I will upload pictures/video once this review is accepted by Amazon (their new rules)

Bluetooth AND wifi? Shut up and take my money!
I like the build of the camera, although I wish it came with an SD card. The clasps are pretty great and include a rubber gasket around the camera. You can really tell it seals nicely when it's shut. The interior of the camera also has a door over the batteries which is nice to keep the water and mud out, and the SD card is on the bottom of the camera (but inside) so it doesn't pull in water either. All the menus and such are well documented in the manual, along with activating the wifi feature. Also the camera has both bluetooth AND wifi, which is awesome! The bluetooth I am assuming is lower power than wifi (but I can't objectively test this) but the wifi definitely has longer range than the bluetooth. Both modes work fine, once it's connected to the app it's connected. The caveat with the wifi is that you cannot put this on your home wifi, the camera itself becomes the access point. Which means you disconnect your phone from your wifi to use the camera. But is your home wifi in the woods? Probably not! Don't worry about it! The app works well, the only gotcha there is you must download the photos before you view them. But it shows you a thumbnail so you know what you're downloading before you download it. This is fine. The image quality is really good though and both daytime and nighttime shots are clear and interesting. The IR LEDs are pretty darn bright, I think. It also comes with a metal base, some screws, and an articulated arm. If you want to put this thing on a fencepost or a wall it's totally doable. Otherwise, just use the strap. Easy peasy!

This takes REALLY nice videos
I bought this camera because its cheaper than big box stores prices and the megapixels are higher than most cams for the price range. It also has a wifi/Bluetooth capabilities. The range isn't anything extraordinary but its just enough to reach the corner of our 1 acre property (house is in the middle) and allows you to check camera from inside the house. The snow is melting and its muddy out there along the swamp so to be able to check remotely is great. You don't have to use the wifi/Bluetooth and can use the camera regularly. The quality of the pictures and videos are above and beyond my expectations, especially during the daytime. Night time quality is better than a lot of my other name brand cams. I didn't have a single blurry picture out of hundreds of pics. Most impressive thing was the sound quality in the video. Watch the video I uploaded with sound on. I came across these camparks on youtube and had to try for myself. I will buy this brand again.

Format the SD Card
The instructions made it pretty clear that you need to format the SD card, but it didn't make it very intuitive on how to do that. After figuring that part of it out the wifi was very easy to setup and I love not having to pull the camera off to access pictures. We have quite the little game trail going with a bobcat, deer, coyotes, and apparently raccoons also. Hoping for more pictures soon, but this was after the very first night. I am not able to access video's yet via wifi, not sure what that's about, but I'm working on figuring this out. **update** Figured out the wifi situation. The batteries have now lasted several months and so far I have one 500 images. As far as I can tell the sensitivity is extremely good. I catch images of mice 20-30ft away and I sometimes have to examine images very closely to see what the camera saw. I have been extremely happy with the results so far. The only false nwgatives I have gotten so far are because an animal was too quick. I can tell because several of the images have a tail or an image a few minutes later of a bird or something fast.

Best little trail camera!
Many features that others don't have. So convenient to view and download from inside our home with the trail camera outside. Just turn on my phone's Bluetooth and WiFi and connect using the software. The first 10 seconds is the photo it took with the bear about 30 feet away (at the edge of the infrared lighting). Then the video starts with the bear about 25 feet away. Only minor drawbacks are the software can't download to the phone's SD card, and the wide angle lens has noticeable curvature on the recordings, (look at the pole).

Great field or home security Camera
Excellent camera. Good pics and video both at night and during the day. Excellent communication with seller. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi work great (worth it for me to spend the extra buck). With the use of the Wi-Fi you can use your smart phone to change the camera settings. Many options for the quality of pics and videos. Easy set up. I highly recommend this camera for both in the field and home security.

The Mobile App Needs Work But Overall Great Trail Camera
I have been using this trail camera for a few weeks, and I have to say, I’m impressed with the camera. But it falls a little sort when it comes to the Wi-Fi function. So in the box, you get the camera, a strap for the camera, and a physical mount so you can mount the camera permanently. The camera also takes 4 or 8 AA batteries. I’ve used many of these trail cameras, and it’s always hard to open the battery compartment. So to fix this, CamPark added a little strap to use to open the compartment. That was a nice touch that I thought was awesome. Out of the box, the camera is ready to use as long as you go into the settings and set the time and date. But if you want to change some settings around on the camera, there are endless options. So, after setting the time and date, I suggest going into the camera settings and looking at all the different options. I would recommend changing the photo resolution to 20MP, where you are taking full advantage of this camera. If you have a decent-sized SD card, I would suggest you go into the video resolution and change it to 1296P. Keep in mind you will use a lot of space on the SD card when you switch to this resolution. If video is not that important to you, then 1080p or 720p will work just fine. You can also change the length of the video, by default it is set to 10 seconds, so if you want it to be a little longer or shorter, you can do that. That is just some of the options you can change if you wish. If you don’t want to worry about that, you can keep everything at default, and the camera will still do a decent job at capturing images and videos. The main selling point for this trail camera is that it offers Wi-Fi connection to view and transfer images. This is a useful feature, and the core components like connecting to the Wi-Fi, and everything works great. But it’s the app that is poorly designed. So it makes the Wi-Fi function almost pointless. Now I don’t know about the Android app, it may or may not be better. But on the iPhone app, the app will crash randomly, and the app is not optimized for newer iPhones. So that could also be a reason why the app doesn’t work too well. If you fight with it enough, you will get to the point where the app won’t crash and allow you to use it to transfer images or videos. Once you transfer them, you have to go back into the app and save the photos and videos individually to the camera roll on your phone. That is a headache, especially if you have a lot of images and videos to save on your phone. The app has a lot of potential, but the question is whether they will update the app and keep it updated. Overall, as a trail camera, this is a great camera to get. The software on the trail camera works great, and they give you many customizable options to set. The camera is easy to use, and it is ready out of the box. So if you want to just set up out of the box, all you have to do is set the time and date. When it comes to the Wi-Fi option, yes, it is a work in progress I would say, but once they get the app up to date and working, this would be a beneficial feature to use. No longer would I have to swap SD cards or view the images on my tablet, when I’m checking my cameras. So I hope they can work out the issues with the app.

very nice camera
I am completely satisfied with this Campark T85 game camera it takes clear videos and pictures, It is well built and features easy setup with many customizable options. this is my second Campark camera, the first was a T70 and after four months of use taking many photos and videos it still has 60% battery left. I doubt if any of the cameras costing three times as much as the Campark will perform any better than this T85 does and I recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a camera for sport or security; and I will definitely be willing to buy Campark products in the future. db

Amazing Camera
This is an excellent camera! Several years ago I bought a couple of different trail cameras. They were large, used 4 D cell batteries, they were unreliable especially in the cold. Last fall I bought a set of four cameras and was happy to see they were smaller and only 4 AA batteries. Then I saw this unit, very affordable (plus they offered a coupon) the reviews were great. I took a chance and I’m glad I did. It’s very compact but built quite stout, it has the look and feel of a quality unit. It comes with a mounting strap AND mounting hardware so if you wish to use it as a security camera it would work great. 20 megapixel camera with a .03 second trigger is an amazing addition to the list of functions. It is reasonable to set up. It does take 8 AA batteries, fortunately I had purchased a quantity of very good high quality rechargeable batteries and charger. I highly recommend getting high quality for batteries especially if you will be using this in cold weather. It also needs an SD card, I’m using a 64g but it will use up to 128 which I’d recommend if your using the video function. The Bluetooth and WiFi are easy to set up, and I’m an idiot with those things. I haven’t played with those functions much but it’s nice to be able to see on your cell phone as you adjust where you want the camera to cover, though it does cover a wide area. Bottom line, this camera will not disappoint you. I’m actually thinking about buying a second one.
