I have used this product for years. I peel mangoes and place in blender. Then I take one teaspoon of the mixture and stir it in one cup of warm water. Then it is added to the mango mixture over the stove. I stir the mixture and wait till it boils slowly. Remove from flame. The mixture turns to be jelly like. I pour the mixture in a tilted glass. It makes it look different. I also get coconut water and add pieces of coconut. I then get one teaspoon of agar agar snd mix in warm water. It is then added to pot that contains coconut water mixture. It thickens and is added inside a glass where the mango mixture is. It looks very pretty when it is done. I then place in refrigerator and wait till it hardens. The combination of flavors is delightful. I love mango/coconut pudding. Agar agar is used in the Philippines and as long as a person is creative many food items can be made. I love being creative in the kitchen.

Worked perfectly! My daughter made Kohakuto, Japanese crystal candy, for her friends for Valentine’s Day. All of her friends enjoyed it and she ate more than she should have.

I made vegan sharktank cheesecake using this agar powder as the "gelatin" for the "water" layer. Also works great for jello!!! Use blue spirulina for a natural blue coloring!

I use it for panna cotta an Italian custard definitely better flavor profile than animal gelatin but u need more for it to work

This is really great. It’s a fine powder and really good quality.

Works great for agar plate preparations. Remember to bring your solution to a boil, pour while hot, and do not disturb until set. The agar needs time to cool to form a tight gel matrix. Made malt extract agar with 500 ml water, 10g agar, and 10g light malt extract.
