I have been on my fitness journey for a few years now and am at the point where the scale won't budge. I have known for years that I should be consistently tracking inches so when this popped up, I bought it. I also have a fitindex scale and this uses same app so nothing new to download. The instructions have very clear syncing instructions and what to download if you don't have the app already. It has a little clip on the end that attaches into itself. Then there's a button that you push to tighten the tape measure. Once you have the body part measured, you tap the location on the app and it saves your measurement. It records and graphs your measurement and over time, you can see trends. I added my weight graph so you can see what it looks like over time. Multiple users can use it. So my son is already bugging me for it so he can measure his arms. Also added perk is when your online shopping and you need to know what your chest size or hip measurement is, you can just open the app and there it is. With a regular tape measure, I was always wondering, how hard did I pull the last time for that measurement and where did I stick that sticky note with my measurements. But this is so simple. I'm actually going to buy a few for gifts for my fitness buddies for Christmas.

Ingenius Time Saver!

I am so impressed with this little tape measure! First of all, it was SO easy to set up- simply download the app & create an account, insert the included battery, connect via bluetooth & you can start. Secondly, I've never had an easier time measuring myself AND it is probably more accurate than any other measurement I've taken! I took all specified measurements- neck, shoulders, chest, waist, hip, thighs, calves, biceps in record time. Pull the tape out as you would any other tape measure, select a body part, wrap it around the body part as indicated, connect the end to the device, press the button to cinch it up, press the check mark and you're done! Measurements automatically saved for future comparison which is great, too! I honestly don't know how they could have made it any easier. What a time saver and boost in accuracy!

Accurate and great for tracking weight loss

FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I received my FITINDEX Smart Body Tape Measure and as I took it out the box and placed the battery I could see the Bluetooth icon blinking. I opened the app to add the device and in the top right corner saw a tape measure icon. I thought to myself, “ I never saw that before.” Surely enough it was my tape measure already connected to my app. No steps needed by me, it just automatically connected. The use is also super simple. One button changes from from centimeters to inches the other is a check mark. Press the body part on app, measure and save. Takes 12 measurements around your body. Here is a mini review for another device, the scale. With my newly acquired and digitally accurate measurements, I return to the navy calculator to determine my body fat percentage. I used my neck and waist and enter the other info and the BF% given from the calculator was the exact same as the scale stated. Not sure about the algorithm used for the scale but it was nice to know it’s pretty accurate until I can get a DEXA scan. So it’s nice to know that my scale is giving me accurate numbers and this measuring tape helps keep a closer track on progress with its digital readout and decimals vs rounding up or down. I will definitely consider more products after that simple plug and play connection I had.

Love The Fitindex Measuring Tape

Just got my new fitindex measuring tape. It came with a battery and great instructions, so I was able to begin using it right away. I love that it works with the same app as the scale, so, I can use it without switching apps on my phone. It connected easily once I opened the app and turned on my Bluetooth. One of the things that I love is that I can easily take measurements without the aid of another person. The end of the tape locks into the device and sbugs up against my body with the push of a small button. I can log that measuement into my fitindex app by choosing the area that I measured and then by pressing the check mark to record it. The device automatically switches off. No need to worry about draining the battery because you forgot to turn it off. You can also switch between cm and inches just by touching the on/off button quickly. It will stay in the mode you select until you change it again. So far, I love this device. Ill add another review once I have used it for a few days. By the way, I have the fitindex scale.....it is amazing. Can't say anything bad about it. My husband and I both love and use it daily!!!

This REALLY works well!

I was a bit skeptical about this body tape measuring device but I already own the FITINDEX bluetooth scale and I love it so I decided to give this a try. The FITINDEX app on my phone immediately recognized the device, I choose the measuring tape icon and it immediately loaded up several different measurements that could be filled in. I started with the neck and the exact measurement of the tape measure popped up on the app screen under neck measurement. There were measurements for the shoulders, chest, biceps, waist, hip, thigh and calf. Combined with all the data that the scale gives me, I feel like I have a complete picture of the results of my diet and gym routine. On its own, this is a great device but paired with the scale, it is an amazing combination.

A useful weight loss tool I didn't know I needed.

I was a little hesitant to buy this because it had no reviews yet. However, I already love the scale so I decided to try it out. The product got here fast and instructions were simple enough. I used it immediately and I'm never manually trying to measure my body ever again. You just loop it around you and let it tighten on its own. The measurements are way more accurate then I could have done measuring myself and it was fast and easy input to the app.

Not just for weight-loss, pays for itself with clothing measurement

Pros: - Accurate and easy to get measurements. nothing groundbreaking, cheap and it works. - I don't like doing this kind of thing, it is fast and painless - Cheaper than digital measurement things at home depot - Software is really powerful in that it can track your size changes, but that only matters if you are losing weight. - battery is super common and with this thing's sleep mode it should last forever Cons: - Could break if dropped from a high enough place, so dont drop it - Display goes on power-save too fast, sometimes you have to look quickly - battery wasn't clearly marked but reading the manual only took one second Overall: - Avoid covid at the store, buy cheaper clothes online, win-win. - If you are trying to track your muscle gains or weight loss this thing will do that very well, just install the software

Super Easy to use

The FITINDEX Bluetooth Digital Measuring Tape is so easy to use! I love the convienence of using this tape measure in addition to my fit index scale and having all my information in one place. I am able to see the progress I am making as I continue my journey to a healthier me! I am able to do the measurements myself and find using the locking pin very easy to use to assure my measurements are accurate. Definitely would recommend this!

Good measuring tape

Honestly I really like having this measuring tape with not only a digital display but also can connect to an app to make things very simple. Can be used by bodybuilders or even tailors. Really glad I bought this. One thing is I wish it would tell me if I should relax when taking measurements or flex muscle, blow air out or not just show a picture of where the tape should go but say body parts such as bellybutton. Again overall great product.

easy to use and keeps you motivated

It is easy to use and log the results using the same app used with the scale. I usually measure every 2 weeks or so because it takes a minute to get all the measurements it wants. It is probably not necessary, but it is nice to have someone there to help you get it situated correctly. Overall is great to have the data to see progress of your hard work over time.
