I was looking for a product that provided a faster means of communication to my handheld device and I was very satisfied. My phone now charges in half the time it would take me to charge it using a regular USB. This USB adapter is also compact, durable, and versatile.

Fantastic minimal USB solution for MacBook Pro 2020! I recently upgraded my 2015 MacBook Pro to a 2020 MacBook Pro. With that change, I lost all my ports except USB C (Thunderbolt). Anticipating the need for all those ports again, I bought a $60 multi media hub which made my wireless mouse and keyboard start lagging on my external monitor. At first I thought my wireless devices were suddenly buggy or defective but not until I tried this minimal Nonda USB port. After 24 hours of use, the Nonda USB completely delivers with no lag on either my wireless Logi keyboard or wireless Logi Mx master mouse! Super happy! Can’t beat the price though I wish you could have two connected side by side (too wide) and I wish the Space Gray was more accurate in color (see photo). Will be returning the Anker Hub. I’d suggest keeping any usb receiver within direct line of your wireless products! (So have USB adapter on right side if mouse/keyboard on right of laptop. I did try using the mouse on the left use of my laptop with the Nonda adapter on the right and seems to work just fine!

They are pretty secure when plugged in. I mainly got these so I can connect my wireless mouse to my new MacBook without having the usb connector connected to the dongle style adapter. I like the little grips on the side too because it makes it easy to remove when finished. Nonda offers an extended warranty if you register the product on their website which is pretty cool. Goes from 1 year (which is the norm for most electronics to 3 years). Will buy these again if I need them or if I ever need the dongle style. Especially if they are of the same quality.

I was actually impressed with the quality of these USB-C adapters. They work really well and look good. Note: you cant put both of them side by side (don't fit) on a Mac Book Pro. You can still put one on the opposite side though!

Okay, for those who may wonder, the regular larger USB port is open on one end of this adaptor which, will convert or adapt the signal thru to the built in male end USB Type- C on the other end so that you plug into whatever you need. Got the pair for adapting my USB fans, and other regular USB devices as needed. Handy items. Great lightening Buy!!

This purchase is mainly for connecting my silver and black Seagate Backup drives to my MBP. The connection to the drive’s USB cord is very secure, and it goes in and out with no effort—even when you pull with the cord. I think these are pretty sturdy for their lightweight feel. I also like that its a unibody, meaning there’s no coming apart for this thing as far as I can see. The duo package is a plus, since I will be traveling with one and keeping the other at home. Lastly, in my opinion, the shade on these adapters is a slightly darker in contrast to the MacBook Pro’s silver body. It’s not as noticeable, so to me it looks good. If you had a space gray MBP, the contrast would be more noticeable I guess. But the way I’m imagining it, that probably wouldn’t be too hard to look at either. Overall, I’m glad I made this purchase.

I like the size and the construction of the adapter; it seems quite sturdy. We have both a Dell XPS-13 and a Dell XPS-15 laptop and there are few available ports on the -13 to house a mouse, one of which is on the right hand side where us right hand users put the mouse and its pad. We had been using the Dell-supplied dongle but the cord on that makes it a bit cumbersome and these adapters allow use of the mouse wireless adapter on either side. We have a lot of USB-3 and -2 thumb drives, so we bought 2 2-packs of these adapters. The adapters I've used so far work quite well on both laptops including the Thunderbolt port on the XPS-15; they also seem to work with our older USB 2 drives.

I purchased this Nonda Thunderbolt3/USB-C adapter to avoid carrying a USB-C hub all the time along with my MacBook Pro. This is really handy to quickly connect a USB thumb drive or an external wireless mouse etc. The build quality is really very nice. Finish and looks are great as well. The sides have a nice textured grip. Its been working fine for last one week of use. Speed seems to be good as well although did not do a speed test. I will recommend buying this - total value for money!

These are made of metal, have a little grip area etched into the sides, and seem to be very sturdily made. Very nice design, and in this age of cheap plastic everything, I'm impressed! I expect they'll be quite durable, but of course I just got them so don't know. Now I just have to avoid losing them since they're so small...

I noticed a lot of people using this for Apple products. I'm using them for all my Android devices. It works just fine. Now there have been a lot of complaints about this little item not working, but what A LOT of people fail to realize is this...there is technology involved. What I mean for instance is the USB-Type C adapter cables. Not all of these cables work properly with All USB-Type C connections. You must use the factory issued cable to work properly. For example, I originally pulled some genric USB-Type C cable out of the drawer, but it would not register the connection. I thought any old USB-Type C connection would work. I was wrong. On a hunch, I went to the back room and got the same cable that came with that Android and used it. Bingo! worked perfectly. So keep in mind, the Adapter connection, the cable itself, and what device your using. Just because it's "IT" related doesn't mean its going to work properly. Save yourself the frustration and do a little research using the right technology
