Missing 2 pieces-FOUND!!!

After about two weeks of working on this puzzle it was very disappointing to get all the way down to the end and find that two pieces were missing we have no choice but to return it because we can never attempt this puzzle again knowing it’s not complete. Uopdate: Very sorry to have written this. the missing pieces were stuck to the bottom of a sock that went through the laundry :( I will not be returning this for a refund. Clearly it was my fault I now will toss it into the trash. I'm an idiot...

The other reviews did not inspire confidence but we had a BLAST!

Early in the game we were fully convinced that one edge piece was missing. Like many other puzzlers before us, we looked for what felt like hours and couldn't find the last edge piece. So I took to the reviews and we were shook. Many other reviews claimed up to 121 pieces missing! We were distraught. We lacked faith and confidence that we would end up with all 1000 pieces and therefore the sweet, sweet satisfaction of the last piece locking into place to create our masterpiece. But we forged ahead and through the miracle of Christmas and Hanukkah we slid the last piece into place. In the group was a lifelong puzzler, first timer, and others in between and we had a great time figuring out the tricky parts of the picture. All the pieces seemed sturdy and, most importantly, all the pieces in our box were present. Maybe the fact that we weren't sure about having a complete set actually added to the suspense?? All is to say, we had a great time and I will definitely repurchase a different puzzle from Buffalo Games.

Quality, fun puzzles

Made in Buffalo, NY, the Buffalo jigsaw puzzles are fun to work and keep your interest. When completed you see vividly finished scenes by fine painters and artists. During the quarantine, Buffalo has provided a good stock of puzzles at fair prices. A big plus: each puzzle contains a large poster to reference while puzzling. Working jigsaw puzzles has become a hobby for my husband and I. We typically buy 1,000 pc puzzles but have worked larger ones. Over the past 3 years, my husband and I have worked about 140 or more puzzles by many types of makers. Besides Buffalo, we also love those by Ravensburg. But Ravensburg are a bit pricier and they do NOT include a poster. Buy the Buffalo ones. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It was a very fun puzzle. It had its easy parts and it had its very hard parts. A nice variety of challenges and rewards. The theme elicited many fun conversations with my wife, my co-puzzler, even to the extent of probably doing a mini-vacation this spring in a similar setting. The puzzle pieces were durable, only fit well when correct, with many "almost correct but not" pieces, and stayed together better than many other brands. I have since ordered another puzzle from the same manufacture.

Fun challenge

This was probably the most fun puzzle I've done out of the last 6 or so. It has nice distinct areas, although it can be easy to put pieces together that don't actually go together due to some similarity in cuts. The cut variety was good overall though, and pieces fit together well - not quite a "snap", but they weren't loose or forced. Mine didn't have any missing pieces. The finished puzzle was nice looking, and I enjoyed it enough to order another by the same artist.

Enjoyable

Had a great time putting this puzzle together. The pieces were all there. The pieces are durable and we had many we thought that went together but didn't so they were taken apart often. Spots of this puzzles were a little harder than some because of the coloring but more I just had to work a little longer. Came with a poster which we use often. Love the box size it is small and fits the puzzles perfectly so uses up less space. Enjoy!

Kept Us Engaged For A Week During COVID-19

This was the first puzzle I got during COVID-19 and it was one of the best. It was very engaging for us to work on it at home. The scene has very vivid colors and when complete is a very relaxing picture. I like that colors were hard to pair, increasing the difficulty as well as having many unique shapes. It took us about a week to complete. Well worth the money.

I'm from Buffalo NY area, so when it came time to pick out a puzzle, I made sure to buy a Buffalo Games puzzle. I purchased this as part of a gift, and the recipient loved it. There are many puzzles to chose from, all look so good. From brightly colored whimsy, to muted subtle tones of nature. I selected a lake scene, and it is stunning. No missing pieces or other issues (thankfully!)

Great buy

U.S.A made and it shows. The pieces fit together wonderfully and hold up after many uses. Really like that they send you a poster to look at while putting together too. Certainly one of our favorite brands to buy. Would highly recommend!

All the parts were there. Above average difficulty but very satisfying.

All the pieces were present. Above average difficulty due to two things: 1) the design has large areas of similarly colored sky and water, and 2) the pieces would sometimes have a false-positive fit -- that is, I would sometimes put two pieces together that were a false but very nearly correct fit. Still, that only added to the challenge -- I eventually discovered all the spots where I had put the wrong pieces together, and I swapped in the right pieces with great satisfaction. So five stars. Happy with the purchase.
