Great Tripod for casual use.

Purchased the JOILCAN 58'' Compact Light Weight Travel Portable Aluminum Camera iPhone & Android Phone Tripod for occasional use on local hikes and vacation. Perfect for my use. lightweight and easy to set up, even has a little bubble for leveling and a 90 degree tilt. NOT a professional tripod. I have a close friend who is a professional photographer, and I have lugged his tripod for miles, he even has various heads for it as well. I am very familiar with that kind of tripod and would not own one for my purposes. The box says "ZOMEi professional tripod", which it is not, but just perfect for unprofessional me. Great price for a 58" tripod, fast delivery and nice red color. I almost sent it back when I set it up and the head would wiggle a little regardless of how tight i had the horizontal rotation knob or the the vertical tilt handle. In order to secure the head without any movement is to tighten the center column lock knob. As I had not raised the center column I did not tighten the knob, but when it is tightened, all the play is gone from the head. If I had raised the center column with my camera mounted, I would have never noticed. My only suggestion would be to tell users to tighten that knob regardless of whether or not you are raising the center column.

Love it, super lightweight, very happy I got it!

Our family is constantly trying to take pictures inside the home and while we get out, especially now during all this Covid stuff. I was looking for a LIGHTWEIGHT tripod that we could use for family pictures. The absolute best thing about this tripod is the price and weight. It is so light. It extends to almost 5 feet still! It comes with the phone mount and works perfectly. Easy adjustments. I have not figured out the remote control function yet though. The tabs to extend the tripod are so easy: just flip and lock, so fast. I have a nice Manfrotto tripod and that thing is a brick to move around. So having the smaller size and weight of this thing for our phones is just what I wanted. If you are looking for a great, portable tripod for your phone, don't hesitate to get this one.

Not bad

The tripod looks Well-built. Not Light And It’s a little on heavier side but i attribute that to everything that comes with The tripod. The clamps on The legs hold on up nicely. I Don’t foresee mounting anytbing heavier than a camera or iPhone on this. since it Is cheap enough i may also use it for outdoor activities and you can still Afford to buy another if you break or lose it.

Adjustable and compact

Got this for my gf because we always have to get creative when trying to take a picture of us. Needless to say she was OBSESSED. She was so shocked when she found out the legs extended into a bigger tripod. It’s great that the legs have the clips to lock in the length so you can adjust it to the perfect height. Also helpful that it comes with a carrying bag. It was a little bigger than I expected but still very sleek and compact for how big it actually can get. Only thing is it didn’t come with a hook like other reviews mention. I was told they removed that feature bc it wasn’t able to hold much weight and it kept breaking off. But besides that, it works great!

Wow! Bought this Zomei after receiving a busted AmazonBasics tripod. Shipping was quick and the product is significantly better than the Amazon brand for a very slight price difference. Stands up well, holds the phone well.

I use this as a tripod for my DSLR for my attempt at Vlogging and Youtube channel. My channel is failing and will likely fail, but the tripod works great. I purchased it b/c it was fairly cheap compared to other versions of it. It's not the lightest but it's actually really light. I hold it in my backpack with ease on hikes. It's also sturdy. The legs hold up and the latch mechanisms seem to be strong. Summary: I like this version (or brand?) that I purchased. It's sturdy, fairly light, and does what is expected.

A light and sturdy tripod for tablets and phones

The tripod is very light and yet very sturdy! I could even mount my Fire HD10 tablet effortlessly as illustrated in their insert. The shoe mount also make it very convenient to add a mic or light. Perfect setting if you want to setup a photo booth or conference call meeting with your tablet or phone. Saying that it’s light also means if using this outdoor you might want to keep an eye or just add some weight at the bottom of the tripod, which is also true for most tripod out there. Though I might not mount an iPad Pro 12” on this while fully extended as it might be too heavy for the tripod. But I think it should be fine for a desktop setting for iPad Pro 12” as it’s very easy to retract its legs and place it on the table. Very well constructed! Bonus there is a carrying bag and remote click with it!

Great idea for Ipad

I had few tripods in the past for DSLR cameras. But yay! what a great idea to reuse that concept for tablets. Now i have one iPad chasing me throughout the house. Spect of use is broad whether you are learning to play music instrument, need to watch youtube while in the bath tub, eating lunch or in the bathroom.... Perfect to zoom in to the work meetings and Skype calls. Quality and sturdiness seems to be great, stable and light. Clamps on the legs hold good. Perfectly holds iPad air 2 and latest iPhones. Don't need to buy case with the holding functionality. No complains there. Bag to take tripod on the go is included. Greatly priced.

Just what I needed

This tripod is just what I needed - compact, lightweight, super easy to set up. My 7yo daughter set the tripod up in less than a minute! My Canon EOS 50D connected easily to the base, and I love the quick release feather - that's really convenient! All in all, super pleased! Would recommend!
