Fits the Oculus 2 with or without the Elite headstrap

Tested with the Oculus 2 and it greatly increases the volume. They easily slip on and off for easy packing or cleaning. You can test the difference it will make, before you order it, by just cupping your hand over your ears while wearing your Oculus 2, that's how much this will increase the level of audio being directed to your ears. I rarely have to turn my audio past the 50% mark with these on. For the price, this is an easy no brainer.

These things are AWESOME!!!

I saw this item listing a couple weeks ago, while searching for headphones for my new Oculus Quest 2, and I thought it was kind of lame because there were no speakers or electronics involved, so I dismissed it right away. Then, a few days ago, in a completely random moment while I was pulling my hoodie over my head strap, I had my hands cupped over my ears for a second, and the change in sound was shockingly drastic. I immediately remembered the listing for this item, and I ordered it right away. These are extremely well designed, and very effective at boosting the depth and volume of the sound coming out of your Oculus Quest head strap. If you haven’t already tried it, I would encourage you to cup your hands over your ears, while some sort of audio was playing on your Quest, and see for yourself how amazing the difference can be.

Brilliant sound solution for the Oculus Quest.

The silicone ear muffs for the Oculus Quest are perfect for immersive and more private gameplay. I hate having a wire around my head for headphones and the speakers on the headset are sometimes a little bit too public for my taste. These ear muffs are great for a slightly more private experience and increase loudness of the built in quest speakers. It won’t magically keep outside noise out, but it will help keep out some noise from outside chatter and any other low noise items. The comfort is good, I have a giant head and big ears myself, and I can wear this comfortably no problem. It stays on my quest all the time now unless I do need a more extreme solution like headphones. But whenever I use headphones it never feels quite as immersive as nothing inside your ears or right up on them. Highly recommended. It’s definitely worth a try.

Simple design with great results

If you'r looking for better sound than the default speakers than this product ain't what you're looking for. These earmuffs just redistribute the sound coming from the speakers to over your ears. Now this, for me, is much more comfortable than sticking earbuds into my ears or adding to the heat of using the Quest with a pair of over-ear headphones. It also adds to the VR immersion with the fact that the sound comes from the "outside" and into your head instead of from inside your ears, in the case of using earbuds or headphones. These earmuffs are also VERY lightweight and easy to install, even while using the Quest on, and also serve as a small "barrier" to external sound. It will shield you from light chatting in the background but they'll still be able to get your attention by just yelling a bit. Whether this is a pro or con is up to you.

Simple but Effective VR Accessory

I was very impressed with this item. Well made (sturdy and lightweight) and does a great job of directing the sound from the Quest headset to my ears to improve audio quality. Also makes it so other people in the room can't hear the sound (my wife likes that). Highly recommend as useful VR accessory.

Fast shipping. Works great. Just a caution these are not earphones. They are rubber covers that redirect sound waves. On the Quest the sound gets lost from a slit above your temple. These covers redirects the sound to your ears. They are comfortable and barely touch my ears. The sound is not surround sound but for people who dont want more wires hanging from earbud or put more things on top of their head like headphones. These work great. I recommend these to people who are on a budget that want something nice to enhance the sound on their Quest. Once on your Quest it looks stylish almost looks like it is part of the Quest.

OQ2 UPDATE:Very good alternative to headphones.

OQ2 UPDATE: These still fit great on the OQ2. work very well! These muffs channel the sound from the built-in speakers to the ears. It provides a great deal more volume without completely blocking out the ambient sounds. The sound is excellent, with a nice bass boost. They are light and comfortable. They also came with a lens cover, and a stick-on nose piece to block light. The cover is nice. The nose piece however, does not stick well. The only issue is that they cover up the velcro tabs that adjust the fit. If you are changing users and need to tighten or loosen them, you must remove and replace them. This is quick and easy however.

Improvement

This is a nice product if you want to amplify the sound from the Quest and even block out a little sound from the outside. It looks like it is part of the Quest once installed, which is very easy to do. I only used this product for a couple of weeks before modding my Quest with the HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Strap in an attempt to actually improve the sound quality and comfort of my Quest. I would still recommend this product as a cheap alternative to help with some of the Quest's sound issues.

Simple but effective sound upgrade!

These work very well if you are using the original strap. Once I switched out for a halo strap, these would no longer fit unfortunately, but I’d still definitely recommend them. You can slide the covers up and down the headset strap stem to get them perfectly over your ears. They don’t have speakers, but rely more on an acoustic redirection and concentration toward your ears. Solid pliable silicone that would be pretty tough to damage. Makes the audio about twice as loud and clear.

Sound amplified!

I am a musician and I tried them with a few songs that I am familiar with to listen to the difference with or without the earmuffs with my Oculus Quest and the sound is amplified a lot! It is a very nice enhancement! As a suggestion, you can try to put velcro on the back to connect both earmuffs so they are closer to your ears and you can almost feel that you are wearing headphones.
