I went through so many pairs of shoes where my little guy scuffed his toes so much that they were trash after a couple months. With winter snows coming, I really wanted a pair of shoes that would keep his feet dry. So glad I found these! It's been four months, and no holes at the toes! Granted, they look scuffed (how could they not when he's wearing them?), but I'm very pleased with how well they've held up. When you take them out of the box they will look too big, but they aren't. They seem to be comfortable, and the colors are fun. He loves them.

A good value kid's runner/hiking shoe

Seen in picture size 4 big kids in blue. It's always a risk buying unknown shoes online for children but the selection for boys at our local stores has been poor this year. These were better than expected for the price point (a good value). They are light and well made. Well designed for hiking or in our case as a winter runner.... most importantly my son will wear them.

Great product

I got these for my son because we go hiking a lot and the cheaper shoes at Walmart weren’t cutting it. These shoes are great, my son doesn’t complain of sore feet and can do everything he wants in them. They are make to last and are super cute!

Holding up well

These are standing up to the torture my 6 year old boy is putting them through. After several months of wearing several days a week theyre finally starting to fall apart. But trust me, that is longer than usual for most shoes he wears and They even have quite a bit of life left. They fit as expected.

Happy with the purchase

Very well made. My grandson stepped in a huge puddle and I thought for sure his socks would be wet, but they were dry! The quality feels great and I think these will hold up for the long haul. Color as shown, very bright. Really like them and so does he! Update: I was so pleased with my first purchase about a year ago, I ordered another pair! I like the quality, the fit, and the ease for my five year old grandson to get on and off, and no constantly untied laces. I will be buying more so he has choices and because these are the shoes he wears on our hikes and also for school.

Great support, good waterproofing, recommended for kids who play outside in all weather.

We got these for our four year old. He is pretty average size-wise, and these fit very well on him. They are very firm, so they don't easily bend or flex, which provides really good support for his feet and ankles. We didn't specifically get these for hiking, just everyday use, but they have been excellent. The waterproofing seems to be pretty good, we haven't noticed his feet getting wet on rainy or snowy days when he wears these outside. They also seem to be pretty good as not staying too dirty--mud and dirt seem to wipe off well without leaving dirt stains. The only downside to how sturdy these are is that he has a hard time getting them on. He really has to push to get his feet in, since the back doesn't flex much. We solved this by showing him how to stand and push his foot down (the floor providing back pressure), and now there are no issues. Great shoe, will probably look for something similar when we have to size-up.

Awesome shoes for active boys/girls

My son is extremely picky with his shoes. He has major OCD abiut the fit and feel of his shoes and socks. These are the only shoes he will wear. They are true to size, durable, stylish, and comfortable. They wear in quickly and last a very long time. I have washed his several times and they do well in the washing machine. I highly recommend these shoes to mom's and dads of active children.

Sturdy, comfortable, and waterproof

Bought these for my son for a camping trip where we would be doing some light hiking. My son reported they were comfortable and waterproof. His feet stayed dry in rainy conditions and also through inadvisably playing in some 3”-4” deep puddles for an extended period of time. Would buy again.

Great hiking shoes!!

I was looking for some good hiking shoes for my son and after getting these I am impressed how well they are built. Initially my son complained they are too tight but it was just his usual reaction when trying anything new. He is 3.5 years old and is ready to wear 9 now but I got him 9.5 just to be sure they come for longer time without pinching his toes. So far we have been on 3 hikes and he runs most of the hike with these shoes (he runs naturally nothing to do with the shoes), which gives me a feeling that he is comfortable in those shoes. I recommend these shoes for hiking for your toddlers!
