High-quality 5 mile radius walkie talkies at a budget price

This walkie talkie set is essential if you are a hiker, backpacker or camper like I am. Since our family hikes and backpacks in areas where there is no cell phone service, we needed some sort of a communication device for emergencies. This pair of walkie talkies suits our needs perfectly since it has a radio frequency of up to 5 miles. It works great and has very little interference, since you have 22 channels to choose from. It has a very clear and bright LCD panel that is backlit when you press the buttons. It also has an emergency flashlight built into both units. By far, my favorite feature is the VOX option, which is a hands-free option. You can set the sensitivity level as well, so that you can use both units hands-free. Basically if you talk into one unit, you don't need to press any buttons and it echoes on the other unit and allows you to respond without having to press any buttons to receive it. Another great feature is the ring option, especially if you lose one of the units and need to find it quickly. We tested these walkie talkies last weekend on a backpacking trip, and they worked well since we were in an area with no cell phone reception. Nice walk-in talkies.

OMG, I just love these walkie talkies. I was looking for a nice affordable set of talkies for my wife, my grand daughter, and I. Let’s face it, everyone has a cell phone these days and you may think you don’t need a set of talkies but it’s really nice to have instantaneous conversation at the push of a button. Especially in inclement weather. Who wants to take their phone out then. Well we are using ours while hiking. I may go a little more adventurous route than the wife and we can keep in contact. I’ve ridden my bicycle about 1.5 miles away and kept in perfect contact through a neighborhood. That’s about as far away as I’ve gotten so far. I’ll be putting these to more tests but so far these little things have really performed. Absolutely no complaints.

Great sound... Worth the money...

These are light weight and easy to carry anywhere. They have a good range of about 5 miles and very easy to operate. Doesn’t need charging as they uses AA batteries. Comes with a manual to understand different features. Features include auto scan, voice activation, call back. Can adjust volume and tones too. Great sound quality.

Highly useful walkie talkies.

These are heavy-duty walkie-talkies that are easy to use and very well made. Super durable, these are great for communication at events and on private land where phones may not be an option. They have a bright green display and the audio is clear.

Pretty good, everything is clear and straight forward. Put in the batteries and start using. Sound quality its good and its good with far distance.

Time to be a spy

This is part of my thanksgiving list, as one of my relative is planning to go cruise earlier next year (if the world be a better place then). I have one which we took on our last trip and these are life saver, esc the phones dont work there. And my kids love the same to play little spy games for the rest of year, lol. I dont want to give any star for battery life, as it doesnt have battery on its own. Had to use AAA batteries.

This is very nice quality, good voice control and very easy to use. Just put the batteries and its on. Sound quality is very impressive for this cost also the range is very good. So far working great, already used it for few days and working perfectly fine.

Compact Walkie Talkies at a good value.

I bought a survival kit for my car and I thought that when I travel it would also be a good idea to have a set walkie talkies to go with it. These have an awesome range and are very compact. We can also use them going to Disney to keep track of each other when the parks open up. I fond that for the price they are a great value and keep them in our van for distance trips just in case. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a compact set of walkie talkies at a good price.

Compact but powerful

We ordered these walkie talkies to let our kid untether from us while he is bicycling in the neighborhood. Makes us feel secure when he is with his friends. The transmission is clear and even the slightest whisper is clear and crisp. We haven’t tested the limits on the range but so far its been satisfactory for our needs. One thing I wish this set had, is the capability to recharge batteries in unit but so far the units haven’t proven to be a hog on the 4AAA batteries that each of the unit requires. Can’t wait to try it during our next camping trip with kids.
