  • WARNING - The bar magnet is very fragile, it is forbidden to collide with other metal objects (including another magnet), so be careful when you are trying separte them !

As folks have said there are very strong and very difficult to separate - but that fine - you should expect that. On my AC power strips I have place 2 (sometime up to 4 on large ones) of these - using epoxy glue. Seems to work very well so far. hint: if you use epoxy use a small piece of tape to hold the magnet on during the initial drying - tends to move otherwise. I also take some "shoe glue" rubber cement and put a thin layer on the other side of the magnet - serves 2 purposes - prevents scratches and slippages. I have the things on filing cabinets, gun safes, anything metal. anywhere you want to hold an object to a metal object. The great thing is you can move them around.

It gets 5 stars just on strength alone. I mean I could hardly get these apart. 33 pounds ( was not a lie at all ) these are the strongest bar magnets. I do a lot of engineering stuff for hobby projects and these are a good fit for my current project. Warning dont drop them, or let them slam into each other... the forces that these are under will shatter.... Dropping them is 50/50 Letting them slap onto each other from distance on a flat side is a 100% chance of braking it lol. I'm impressed tbh 😅 will be getting some more

After purchasing a huge package of magnets, I thought I was set for the rest of the year. I hung a calendar on my refrigerator door, but my magnets were so weak, it kept sliding around and dropping off. My brother suggest Rare Earth magnets. He never steers me wrong. So, I ordered some and they are beyond perfect. It only took one little bar magnet to hold my heavy calendar in place. I previously used a handful of the craft magnets but there is no comparison. Rare Earth holds up far superior.

These magnets are really powerful and very difficult to get apart if two come together. Only way I've found safe to separate them is sliding them apart. I bought them to help provide extra hold for register/vent covers. Typical registers when closed don't stop air flow 100% so I've purchased magnetic covers. Although they are magnetic, the covers don't hold as well on ceiling registers. The magnets will ensure a secure hold.

For those that have a MISTI (Most Incredible Stamping Tool Invented) these magnets are a must-have! They fit perfectly in all the sizes and it is nice to have extras on hand for the occasion when they stick together are break (all these type of magnets are brittle no matter who you get them from). HINT: wrap some masking or washi tape around them and leave a tab for much easier usage.

If you have ever used something that looks like a magnet but acts like a flunkie paperweight on an epic fail adventure, you know and appreciate the value of a REAL magnet that does its magnet job AND does it well. I am happy to report that THESE magnets pass the “do your job!” magnet test with flying colors. 🤗

These are thin but strong magnets. It came with little spacers in between each magnet... wasn’t sure what they were for initially until I shattered two magnets when they snapped together. Luckily there were so many so I didn’t care. But they have very very sharp corners when they shatter so be careful!

Great magnets! Very strong. They were shipped wrapped in padding with a plastic rectangle between each layer. The box had all the sticky things if you intend to stick them to something else.

It is so powerful that is scary sometimes when you get close to some metal, and to separating from each other is a struggle you must twist it and work fast when grabbing the end. I love it.

Magnets are very strong. After you take them apart with some effort of course. Do not let them slam into each other, because they are very brittle and will break.
