I’m an older woman and my very fine hair is graying. The texture has changed and it’s more dry than it used to be. On top of that, I insist on wearing it long. Very long. Truth is, I started to resist cutting it after chemo many years ago. Now I just snip off the ends myself when needed. I don’t color or treat it in any way, but it needs some TLC. Unfortunately, I find normal conditioners weigh it down too much. But THIS! It’s fantastic. I did have to read the directions to make sure I was using it right. Basically, you put it only on the long part of your hair, not up on your scalp, make sure all the hair is saturated, wait eight seconds, and then rinse. There are measuring lines printed on the label but I think they’re just there for looks, because I needed much less than I thought I would to get the job done. The product isn’t thick and spread through my hair very easily. If you follow the measured lines, one bottle will last you just a few uses. But, of course, use what it takes for your hair. What it did was make my hair soft, smooth, and silky. There were no tangles at all. Really, it hasn’t looked this good in a while. I wasn’t aware of any unusually strong scent while using it. However, I wash my hair less frequently than I did before it grayed - about twice a week - and it still smelled very nicely of the product when I went to wash it the next time. I wish the scent of the shampoos I’ve tried lasted that long! I can’t tell you how it works when styled since I air dry my hair. I’m extremely pleased with these results. I’ve never found a product that worked as well. It will be a staple for me in the future and I highly recommend it!

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water, Long Hair Transforming Lamellar Rinse Out, Instant This is a quick step to insert into your hair care that can make a huge difference in how your hair looks. First, wash your hair, then apply this rinse and leave on for 8 seconds or so and rinse. Follow this up with a condition, rinse and then blow dry with your normal products. It makes your hair super soft and shiny as well as smoothing out those rough edges. The formula helps fill in the cuticle of your hair and finishes everything off so it looks like you just got your hair done. My hair is a bit longer than shoulder length and it works well.

This is very easy to use. The top pours a good size out with ease. No need to squeeze or lose a bunch of product. The scent is gentle, beautiful, and lasts. Results are effective, quick as well as noticeable in a fast manner. I have used this twice and see such a huge difference in the quality of my hair. I have over-processed, bleached hair with split ends & frizz.. Since using this, I have had a substancial repair in my strands. I am in love with this 8 second wonder water.

Loreal's Elvive line has been my drug store go to forever. The tub conditioner is just as exceptional as these 8 second miracles. The thought seems to be, there is no difference except pink is for long hair. I disagree. The Pink vs the Brown is creamier. Deeper, if that's possible bc this stuff goes deep. Both are a liquid, that I apply to my scalp in sections, like coloring/blowing out your hair, then squeeze on ends. I do leave longer while I'm washing up but, have done the 8 seconds & was amazing. The Brown bottle just heats up & detangles. The Pink bottle, This One for 'Dream Lengths' long hair is richer. It gives the same scalp comfort, detangling & weightless body. Yet my hair that hasn't been cut in 6 months, looks energized with no leave-in. My Brown bottle version needs a leave-in now bc my hair hasn't been cut in 6 mon. It would make sense that long hair would need more attention. Usually my hair is a long, layered bob just past shoulders & brown bottle is great. Think I'm switching to pink. Not just because I love pink bottles in my beauty routine. But just when I thought Elvive line couldn't get better, it did & it's pink.

My daughter's hair has been terribly damaged by chlorine while swimming. This rinse-out treatment instantly fills the porosity of the hair while providing instant softness, smoothness, and shine. After one use, immediately her hair was leaps and bounds improved. Her texture, the sheen, the manageability, and even the color were all improved. After only used a couple of "doses" and her hair was feeling very soft afterward. I also noticed after rinsing - it did a great job of conditioning as well. The only thing I didn't like is that the scent is very strong and fruity. The scent did linger for over 24 hours. Hope you found this review helpful!

My daughter has very thick, very long, wavy hair. She tried this, and I could immediately notice a difference. Her hair wasn't all fuzzy and wild. It was wavy and silky looking. Very nice! Plus I think the best benefit is that even after rinsing it out, her hair smelled fantastic -- everyone she ran into this evening commented on how great her hair smelled (you don't hear that often, lol!) It did make a difference in her hair, making it softer and less fluffy.

This hair treatment from Loreal does a beautiful job on long hair. It instantly makes the hair feel smooth and tangle free, as if any knots just fell out of it. It's important to just use on the ends or length of the hair and not get it near the scalp. I bend over in the shower to use it. Leave on for 8 seconds then rinse it out. It heats up briefly and feels weird. Once dry, my hair looks so shiny and glossy. It looks especially good on the day I shampoo and use the treatment. The next day my hair is on the limp side. But I still love it. The only thing I don't like is the strong perfume. Hopefully they will come out with an unscented version.
